I stayed at the Z Hotel recently for six nights. The best thing about this hotel in my opinion was the location and that it was fairly quiet at night. Right by a tube station and several pubs, cafes, and late night eats. Things that were not the best- elevator does not work! Also the window sill in my room was very dirty, like had someone’s hairs all over it dirty. :/ The removable shower head never stayed put on the pole, so showering was always holding the nozzle versus being able to stand under the water. Another thing to note- although this hotel has AC, it runs in eco mode, so every couple of hours it just turns OFF and then you’ll wake up in a sweaty mess. Pillows are great, bed made my hips sore after a couple nights (very firm). Hope this review helps someone!

Checked in for 2 nights, on arrival given my room card key, no indication of how to get to my room, so I asked the question. Then I understood why, the staff member was embarrassed as the lift was broken (throughout the entire stay) I was situated on the top floor and then I find the air conditioning was not working for two days in extreme temperatures. Both my colleague and myself had two individual rooms with the air con not working in each. When asked on the second night if it had been fixed, the staff member said it had but it definitely had not. I know they can do nothing about the weather but this experience was very sub par.... I really like this hotel chain but this experience has put me off future bookings as the price fro two nights was not met by the level of experience I faced.

For an overnight stay, it was pleasant with everything that you need and a great location if planning a night out. My only criticism is the lack of space. Had a room without a window and there was barely any space between the bed, the shower and the room door. Was told that the rooms with windows may have been slightly more spacious so will remember that if I stay there in the future.
