Good value accommodation, in a lovely location. Everything you need for a short break, a comfortable, clean room, en-suite bathroom with plenty of hot water and good quality towels. Free on site car parking.
We had a delicious large cooked breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee, fruit juice, toast, croissants, fruit, yogurt and cereals and a friendly member of staff serving us. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Not quite the level of a similar chain hotel however general cleanliness was OK. The pub next door wasnt the best in terms of cleanliness, not enough staff and things like huge amount of dust of top of coffee machine, cutlery and glasses not cleaned great either

Place is great and in a very nice setting. The door to our room was a poor fit to the frame and consequently rattled all night. I am sure that is something they can and will remedy.

I was generally impressed with the accommodation once the issue with my room door key card was finally sorted with a change of room. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed for the price, but the wifi was not particularly stable and somewhat unreliable. The food in the pub was pretty good and the service was also pretty top notch actually. Marstons cannot choose its guests or visitors, as I am sure the horrendous reek of drug misuse throughout the accommodation would not have been welcomed by the company, but it was somewhat awful. This last point was a real shame and spoilt our overnight stay.
