A great bang for your buck. Very wallet friendly. No mold and not musty smelling. Very surprised at how well kept it is for thos price. Sure, its old and needs a bit of TLC, but nothing major. Very clean and tidy beds. Mattresses are well kept as well. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Room was terrible - moldy, peeling paint, bad smell, dirty curtains that haven't been cleaned in years, broken lights, dysfunctional TV, and zero wifi even though it was promised. Staff of both hotel and restaurant THOROUGHLY UNFRIENDLY, charging for tiny things like fish food and wanting a $40 deposit for an umbrella when it was a downpour for 10 hours straight and rooms are a long walk up a hill! Very interesting place for solo travellers who want experience forest night, very eco-friendly area, birds sounds very nice! The room is spacious and the staffs are friendly. Room 13 with private verandah overlooking a natural rainforest lake, in the budget rooms section was extremely relaxing. Watching the kingfishers. I just wish the bed was more comfortable.
Showers were great and delightful and very helpful staff.
