The check-in in this hotel has been terrible and still is. Too long waiting time. But the staff is very friendly. Also we could hardly notice any refurbisment except that cooling in the rooms was broken and the windows could not be opened like earlier. Very painful night, hardly any sleeping.

Nice hotel, walking distance to restaurants and shopping

Pretty nice hotel. Nothing special about the rooms but public areas very nice. A busy place - lots of groups meeting here. Great breakfast served. Just a couple blocks from train station so pretty convenient.

Great location, service, amenities

It was close to Ratina Stadium, had a very good breakfast bar, and was also close to the mall and tour boats, I wish the jacuzzi/spa had hotter water.

Fantastic hotel very clean, good food very helpful and friendly staff. The single bed was too narrow i fell out the bed one night.

Very good Hotel for a one night stay in Tampere. There were too many people around in considering these times - especially the breakfast was a large space full of people, which felt wrong at such a times. So hotel was good - arrangements not.

Overall is a good and comfortable stay. Hotel restaurant good is good but not cheap.

The hotel was pleasantly decorated but for a 4 star hotel somewhat shabby. The service was rather poor. The sauna was not hot, and there was essentially no table service at breakfast, which was not warm in the trays. The desk was ok, except that they misquoted the rate for an additional night. Parking was more expensive than usual. All this was surprising because other Sokos Hotels have had excellent service, and are more reasonably priced.

I stayed 1 night as a business traveler. |The hotel is easy to find as you can see it stand above the town. I drove to the hotel and the parking is onsite and easily accessible. Checkin was simple and straight forward. I had a room on the 14th floor, it was a twin bedded room but the beds were right next to each other. The room had a great room over the town and even with the window open it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the duvet ideal for the time of year. The pillows were probably the only let down and they were ok, just not great. The shower room is compact but has a really good shower and a full depth bowl. Temperature was easy to regulate in the room, it had a desk, large flatscreen tv and a minibar. The storage space was good for a short stay. The rate included breakfast and that was a really diverse buffet. I didn't eat dinner in the hotel but there is a restaurant on site (where you have breakfast). I looked at the menu and there was good choice at reasonable prices. There is a good swimming pool so don't forget your swimmers. Overall it was a great choice and I will definitely return there for business or leisure.

The hotel has nice interior design. The breakfast was very good. There was no heating in the bathroom.

Good location, beautiful view from my room on the 14th floor. Tried to enjoy the spa area... However although it was unlocked and well lit, a staff person told me it wasn't open and had to leave. Disappointing as I had of course paid the fee. Everything else was great!
