Hotel La Forestière

Loved Le Foresteria!!! Room was nice with a window that opened to the forest next to it.

Staff are very professional. Warm welcome. Very helpful even with the internet issue. The restaurant is very good and the breakfast is good too. Very close to the beach and all activities. Recommendate for the family and couples

This was a disappointing hotel. The room was small and the carpets throughout the hotel badly need replacing. We asked for an ice bucket, but staff could not help with this.

We were warmly welcomed and accompanied to our room for an overnight stay on our way up through France. The room was smallish, but adequate and clean. We had a good night's sleep and enjoyed a few hours exploring the area and eating at a restaurant just off the beach. From the motorway, it takes about half an hour to get to the hotel. We didn't eat at the restaurant.

Overall experience good, comfortable beds, clean room and bathroom. Staff friendly and obliging..

The hotel was close to the pyla dune, lakes and some lovely coastal resorts. Great value for money. Hotel was well equipped, had lots of the little extras you need, making the stay there very easy.

Hotel represents good value for the price - the pool is a great bonus!

Beautifully maintained hotel with great service. Maybe because we were there in high season, but we found the surrounding area rather overwhelming with holidaymakers, campers, etc but great stop over.

the hotel was spotless,we were met by a lovely helpful receiptionist how could not do enough for us.the hotel was in a very pleasant location,just far enough out of town,although we never used the restaurant or swimming pool we did have breakfast and found everything very pleasant.

A very friendly, warm welcome from the reception staff was followed by a smallish but comfortable and spotlessly clean room overlooking the heated pool and garden. This is an ideal spot for exploring the Arcachon coastal area. Whilst there we spent a day at the Le Teich bird reserve which was well worth the money. The hotel restaurant was attractively decorated and the staff attentive. We ate there on all three nights as out of season there are not many other choices in the immediate area. The food was of good quality and well presented, however the choices were rather limited if you are staying for a number of days. Prices were average for hotel restaurants in France. Could not fault the hotel and would stay again. Only two suggestions for additional comfort would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room and an English speaking channel on the TV system.

Cant fault it.Receptionist was bubbly and spoke perfect English which is a big help when my french is pretty poor.Room was spotless and had free WiFi.

A good value hotel. The price was good, the hotel was very clean and in good condition. Staff helpful. Shower room was virtually new. Parking limited but on road parking fine as it was very quiet. Room was small but bed comfortable and extra pillows in cupboard. Need to use your car to get to the beach.

Booked a Superior room but what was offered room 310 needed updating and decorating. Also quite a noisy road. Asked about moving but apparently not possible due to the hotel being full, although it certainly did not look that way. Location was ok but not as near to the beach as suggested in the description. A car is essential. Region is excellent for an activity holiday with superb beaches. Had a room only package, the breakfast's were good, one night we tried to have dinner, told restaurant was full and they offered the terrace, eating by ourselves. Thankfully there are a couple of Italian eating houses 10 minutes drive away and these were a better bet. Overall we will return to the area but not this hotel.

Hôtel très agréable, propre et bien tenu. personnel efficace et souriant. belle piscine et possibilité de prendre son petit déjeuner en terrasse face à la forêt. Excellent restaurant. rien de négatif

Un peu ambiance motel, mais c’est propre et bien tenu, pas très loin de Biscarrosse plage.

Gångavstånd till närmaste strand är ca 20 minuter (ej 11 min). Bra frukost! Trevlig personal! Lätt att parkera.
