Our short, one night stay was pain free other than the climb to the third floor.
The room was clean and well appointed and the air conditioner was functional for the main cabin of room 20.
Parking on site for 14 Euro made everything easy!

The location of this hotel is wonderful and the staff is very kind and helpful! The rooms are spacious. The AC on the hottest days is just enough. The little bar next door is nice. FYI There is no elevator. Overall we had a wonderful stay

The hotel was in the middle of a street where it was all restaurants and bars and was great for people watching. The garage parking at the hotel was excellent. The small private garden was a little oasis of peace and calm. Beautiful breakfast. Lovely room.

Nous avons bien aimé notre cours séjour. Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas d'assenceur, mais ça nous a pas déranger. La petite terasse sur le toit était probablement la plus belle vue qu'on pouvait avoir sur la cité. Nous avons eu un petit problème d'air climatisé, nous avons avisé au départ, mais les propriétaires étaient vraiment désolée de la situation et nous ont dit que si nous avions aviser ils nous auraient changer de chambre. Donc, n'hésitez pas si ça vous arrivé de les appeler. Ils étaient très sympatique. L'emplacement est tout prêt de la cité, nous lavons fait à pieds. Je recommande!

Really helpful staff, good breakfast, lovely garden to sit in during day/evening and where breakfast can be taken. Beautiful view from the top terrace of the castle walls but too hot to linger when we were there in July. Helpful host when parking car in their garage. Really short walk up to the castle. Clean room and bathroom .

have secure parking near by. Excellent breakfast which we enjoyed outside in the pretty courtyard garden. Only disadvantage was that our room was on the third floor and there was no lift. Madam, however, insisted on carrying our bags up, which went well beyond what we expected!

Hotel is in perfect location on a beautiful street where you will find all the lovely restaurants .
It is very typically French looking with a beautiful garden at the back with small tables and chairs.
My double room which overlooked the garden was so clean,the bathroom had everything I needed for a pleasant 2 night stay.
There are no coffee/tea making facilities but water machine on first floor to fill the bottle/decanter .
Very comfy bed.
Large T.V on wall which I did not use.
Fab shower Hairdryer provided.
There is air conditioning but the window did open so I just did that when needed.
On the 3rd floor there is a small area terrace,and the view of the fortress from there is awesome.You can take lots of great pics
I was sent a code to access the hotel incase I arrived later than 20.30hrs.
The owners are so friendly and helpful,recommending restaurants and ordering return transport to airport.
I did take airport shuttle when I arrived in Carcassonne.
Only 6 euros,about 20mins to hotel.
I had not booked breakfast on first morning,but as I was leaving early on my departure day,7.45 I booked breakfast which I was able to eat at 7.15am .
Breakfast was a buffet,so much choice,I would recommend anyone to have the breakfast.It was delicious.
Cannot fault the hotel.
It was such good value for the price I paid.
Do not stay anywhere else .
The fortress was only 10 mins walk to get there.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay for 2 nights,thankyou Hotel Pont Vieux

This family-run hotel is clean and pleasant. The rooftop terrace with the view of La Cite is a very pleasant place to spend evening time. It was about a fifteen minute mostly uphill walk to La Cite, shorter and easier coming back down. There are several good restaurants very near the hotel, and more up in La Cite. We are truly happy we chose this hotel.

We stay at the hotel very much. The owners and operators, Jean-Michel and Catherine, were very warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the courtyard and garden below. The breakfast buffet was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a great location just outside the old city. Many excellent places to eat close by and the hotel has an its own shop with a great selection of wines, beers and local food specialties including beautiful cheeses, and other charcuterie items. It was quiet and peaceful at night. There was a nice spot on the 3rd floor where one can sit outside and watch as the light changes on the old city above on the hill, and get some nice photos.
