Used the hotel for a stopover in our way down to the South. Location was convenient. Ok for one night’s stay but disappointed with the breakfast which was a cold buffet. Crepes were cold.

When we arrived on the Sunday evening at 19:30 the hotel reception was shut. I had been sent an email saying it would be shut, but only after 18:30 on the Saturday evening (the day before). Luckily I was able to retrieve the hotel's email which contained the code to open the door, as instructed. Had I known there would be no food available on the Sunday evening, after a long train journey from London, I would have booked a room elsewhere. Saying that, the room was decent, as before.

Next door hotel very helpful, but also couldn't use the contact number, nor was the owners mobile answered.email not responded to. Shabby rooms and furniture but serviceable.Heating didn't work, radiators only slightly tepid.car parking unavailable as locked court yard
