ibis Châtellerault

Really enjoyed our stay staff were welcoming room very clean plenty of room.

No one in the reception for more than 40 minutes. Also there was an issue with the hot watter. The water was so bad. I was not ablemto wven wash my teeths.

I stay IBIS because I know what to expect. This was no exception. The only reason I gave 3 stars for staff and service is because I was left waiting at the unattended front desk for check-in. That said I later noticed the front desk person doubling as dining room hostess and order taker! I felt sorry for her and think IBIS should spring for additional staff coverage.

Good location, great parking. The room was clean and comfortable. On-site restaurant had a good selection of on the menu and was good value.

Nice restaurant right by the hotel. Rooms in all Ibis could be a bit bigger...But nice to know that, wherever you go, you are going to get exactly the same, including good TV channels in English !

A delightful modern hotel ideal for an overnight stay as it's located just off the Peage network. Didn't get the time to look around, but Satnav found it instantly, which is what I wanted.

Interesting friendly hotel , with excellent Bistro in an easily accssible part of the town. Ideal for overnight stops. Will book again soon!

We stayed for 2 days. I have stayed here before as I really like. The rooms are very comfortable, the WiFi is excellent and all the staff are very friendly.

Just a stop over on the way to Spain. Hotel was very good possibly one of the best Ibis I have ever experienced. Caution though, this town has absolutely nothing, the busiest place was the cemetery

Staff were lovely and friendly, resteraunt was very good. Needs modernising as it looks dated, area for snacks and drinks is not very good as you are sitting in the foyer near the front door where everyone is coming and going.The area around the hotel is the outskirts of town and not much there but a small shopping outlet.

I didn’t like the customer service, safety, cleaneness, etc. . I had a terrible experience. Drunk people fighting in the lobby, the receptionist was unable to call the police because he did not know how to do it. We were assigned a room that was already occupued by another customer. We were so scared for our safety and even for the receptionist security once the situation scaled.

We were disappointed with the city not as old as we like ,more of a working area

Easy reach from motorway. Good restaurant, but perhaps could offer some cheaper menus. Menus offered were of good quality. Rooms were clean and tidy. We booked 8 rooms and one had some dead flies in it, but the staff changed the room immediately with no question of fuss.

Hotel was great for a business trip, however probably want something a little more fancy if I was travelling with my wife on holiday

Good stopover en route south. Easy to find from main road. Excellent breakfast

Very convenient on our way down Caen/Angouleme. Within 5 mn walks to lovely parc with lake to stretch our legs. Brasserie food was lovely. Supermarket next door if you'd need anything (good to know). Will stop there again.

Hotel was very convenient location and rooms were clean and comfortable. Restaurant was fantastic, had a lovely meal. Breakfast could have been better but was the norm for a continental, croissants were not very good. Overall though a good stay.

Convenient room on the way to our holidsy destination.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is ok Elevator did not work the entire week and that seem to be "normal" for everyone. Overall a good place to stay if you are on a business trip to Chatellerault

we thought the expensive scallop meal was not very good and fried in breadcrumbs which we thougjt could be better done . steak was ok so hotel was good needs a bit of work with the chef
