Ok for one night off the ferry before onward travel. Parking is compact. Room was cramped but clean.

Our stay was ok. Receptionist very pleasant.Parking was good,breakfast was nice. Rooms very dated. Toilet was dirty, brown stains in the base of the pan and at the back. Needed a good clean. No air con which is needed in the summer heat.

Within easy reach of the ferry port reception staff member was helpful and the room was just what we needed after travelling all day

This hotel met the expected IBIS standards and was a good choice for us. Its lcation in the town was not central and information about local bus services would have ben helpful.

The property is old and dated.The rooms are like a prison cell.Staff on desk good food outlets within easy reach.Knock it down and rebuild.

A fairly basic hotel. Rooms rather gloomy owing to small single windows. Good sized comfortable bed and adequate washroom. Restaurant offers reasonable food at a fair price, but breakfast is a bit patchy - bread and pastries not the freshest, scrambled eggs only edible if you get there at dawn! Fair selction of cereals, fruit, cooked meat and cheese. Coffee drinkable but not strong enough. Reception and cleaning staff pleasant and efficient Private car park with CCTV a great asset and proximity to Auchan hypermarket could not be more convenient.

We stayed for 1 night and it was perfect, great breakfast and great location especially before taking the ferry to Newhaven

I made several requests to add a further traveller to this booking and eventually received a negative and rude reply, and I was forced to seek alternative accommodation. I wish to take legal steps against this hotel if I do not receive a refund. This was a dreadful experience.

Good for an overnight stay. We arrived late from the ferry but bar still open. The room was a bit cramped but clean. Bathroom good size and clean. Sound proofing could be better. Surprisingly good breakfast. Free parking by the hotel.

We have used this hotel before, restaurants nearby, easy to park and very handy for the ferry port.

Disappointing. From the outside the hotel looks very run down and tatty. Reception service was begrudgingly offered and no mention was made of the fact that the restaurant was closed. I was only told at 7.00 in the evening, four hours later and that there was a restaurant a short walk away.

It was an unscheduled stay due to cancelled ferry. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Good varied menu in the bar. Food was excellent. Left at 5 am so didn’t have breakfast but it was all set out ready if you needed it.

Small room, as expected. Close to shopping and town center.

Maybe slightly tired, very good value for money Pleasant bar/restaurant with outdoor seating, friendly atmosphere and helpful staff Would definitely recommend

Bed was very very uncomfortable I woke up from the bed with the very very bad back pain 😡😡😡😡

Walls very thin, room very hot, & quite small. About 25 mins walk to sea front.

Room was quite small, for movement, as senior couple. Also very full and noisy especially after 12 pm.

Finding the hotel is not easy. Poor signing. I was so close to it and still couldn’t find it. Miss the kettle in room. Although I arrived really late, the girl in charge was most pleasant.

Great water pressure, no soap

Rather tired hotel, room small and badly designed. Handy for the ferry but have stayed in many better budget hotels. Expensive for what it was
