We had an amazing stay at Château d’Étoges. The castle is beautiful, full of history, and surrounded by peaceful gardens. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with a great selection. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect place to experience the French countryside. We also enjoyed the restaurant and the excellent Champagne selection. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay in Champagne!

It was a pretty incredible place to stay. The room window opened up on the moat around the chateau and it seemed like stepping back in time.

The whole chateau requires some t l c
Windows and frameworks were filthy it had certainly deteriorated since our last stay which is such a shame
We also found that it was extremely dog friendly not that I do not like dogs but how do they clean the rooms effectively prior to the next guest arriving in a few hours
Unfortunately I would not recommend this chateau as there are better options

We have been staying at Ch d’Etoges for our o/n stop from the Alps to Calais for many yrs. it’s the best treat to end our break with, which we always look fwd to. Everything is fabulous & our PRT dog loves it too. I’m sure they have many repeat visitors - fully deserved.
