A small, but beautifully appointed hotel with fine dining to be taken on the terrace overlooking the river or in the airy, elegant dining rooms.
On a particularly hot and sticky August day the cool (air conditioned) and calm interior was a relief from 'la chaleur'. Warmly welcomed by the French owner and the charming Susan, and offered an iced tea and freshly baked madeleines - hospitality at its best.
I little gem of a hotel, I hope to revisit in the not too distant future.

We stayed over the weekend of Bastille day and the FIFA World Cup Final. From our balcony we had fantastic views of the river and social part of town. Very close to a small indoor market which served excellent petite dejeuner for only 4 euros. The hotel did have a Michelin star restaurant but because of the football we did not get the chance to sample. Everything apart from the friendly local bars selling tapas was closed. A very pleasant experience overall

The hotel has been designed around a Belle Époque building with taste and attention to detail. The staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their lovely hotel and are keen to look after you. Dinner was superb. I hope this hotel flourishes, because with the thought and care put into it, it deserves to. Even the lift has been designed and its designer credited!

A beautiful hotel, delightfully restored, fantastic sevice and food, great setting and Charlie the parrot! We stayed here on our journey from Bilbao to the Dordogne and were delighted with it. The staff were so welcoming, the decor beautiful, the bed so comfortable, the views onto the river, who could want more.
We had an excellent and reasonably priced lunch and breakfast,a real treat. We would highly recomend this Hotel to anyone , the best we have stayed at in a very long time.

A short trip to Mont de Marsan that was made special by the attentive warm welcome afforded by Caroline and all at Villa Mirasol. Beautifully appointed by the river across a bridge to the town centre. Wonderful food prepared from locally sourced produce served for lunch. Clean spacious room and shower room, newly finished to a traditional high standard with modern fittings, and with a very comfortable bed. A true delight to experience the French pace of life. Thank you for our 'doggy bag' on our early morning departure.
