If you are looking for the ultimate secluded beach get away totally away from everything no cars roads or bikes..this is it. GILLIGANS ISLAND without the Skipper and Mary Ann! Nothing but untouched coast line and Palm trees. With that being Aotera Guest House offers very basic bungalows right on the stand steps away from the aqua blue sea. It is however no frills and very basic . No hot water or AC. But sometimes you have to give up the small luxuries in life if you cant afford the Conrad or Sofital and still seek absolute paradise! Far from it all the Captain will pick you up at the Marina and it is a 20 min boat ride to the Guest house. The food is ok to decent- Beer is available Beware if you walk down the beach. Along the way the only other property has doberman pincher dogs that have attacked toursists so be aware.

This property was misrepresented on the expedia website. No restaurant, bar, coffee shop. Maybe a washing machine. The wireless’s internet only worked in the main building which was open and mosquito ridden. The sheets were dirty! The floor was filthy, the outdoor furniture was broken, the hot water in the shower didn’t work, there shower head was blocked and water sprayed everywhere. The faucet on the sink didn’t really work and when turned on the shower ran. There was minimal breakfast and dinner was what they served at a basic table with dirty glasses and a plastic table cloth. We were supposed to stay three days, we lasted less than 24 hours. The place needs to be shut down

Excellent. We were picked up from the airport upon arrival, taken to the boat and had a 30 min ride to the hotel. Initially we were concerned of remote location but it didn’t matter: the hotel provides everything you need, dinner is just $US 15 pp and very tasty. They provide breakfast and all day tea and (instant) coffee. You can buy good Nespresso, wine and beer and the price is average for FP. We liked it so much that extended our stay to six nights. Try to get a lagoon bungalow (more breeze and gorgeous view from the room). The bungalows have just been repaired and everything is brand new and clean. They send a boat daily to the village to pick up tourists and buy groceries, do you can get to the village easily if you want to. Or you can snorkel and fish right from the beach. Bring lots of mosquito repellent! They are doing good job to keep them away in the restaurant and the room are equipped with the screen doors but there are lots of mosquitoes in FP. The owner helped us with booking the Blue lagoon tour (which we loved!) Very relaxed and happy atmosphere

L’organizzazione lascia a desiderare: orari vaghi, poca comunicazione, pasti semplici e ripetitivi, senza attenzione a preferenze o intolleranze.

No hospitality of the owners, they don’t inform and communicate with their clients, no welcome, a warm landing at the accommodation. A lack of hospitality of the owners. Another thing is the hygiene of the accommodation. During diner there are pigs, a dog and rats walking around in the restaurant. The food they serve is really terrible. Another thing is the hygiene of the accomodation. In this type of climate you need to clean bathroom and toilet at least once a day. No cleaning in four days of our stay. There are bed bugs in the bed! The service of breakfast, lunch and diner are terrible with earlier mentioned terrible quality. When leaving no warm goodbye and thanks for the stay. A total disappointment. The only positive thing is the location.

Viel Potential wenig Umsetzung. Organisation/ Kommunikation sind A und O.
