Great value with the room recently renovated. Walking distance to the center of town. Breakfast was great vslue.

Big clean room and really good breakfast. Cheery staff.

Friendly staff, good room (227) on first floor. 5 mins walk from Marktplatz.

Barrier created difficulty accessing hotel - needed staff help. Motel type room arrangement. Cockroach found scurrying in bathroom. Good Asia Restaurant in town centre, so didn’t use hotel fare.

We had a great stay at this hotel, bed was comfortable, large bathroom, great shower and wonderful view of the Rhine.

Very clean and comfortable modern hotel with a really impressive beer garden with river views. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, unfortunately they are very small. I've seen bigger bathrooms in caravans so that has affected the overall svore whi h is a shame

The Hotel is not so good as it was last year,they only clean the room on request also you have to pay 8 Euros for parking,i don't know if i will bother to stay there again

Positives: very clean, front desk staff was nice and helpful, location near the river promenade, close proximity to train station Negatives: no air conditioning in rooms which is typical for hotel in area but can get warm at night in summer (fan was provided). We didn’t have a good experience with checking in for breakfast but the breakfast itself was a good selection.

Nice Hotel only one gripe there’s no tea/coffee facilities in the room or complimentary water in the room you have to purchase them from bar.

Very nice clean and friendly

We loved the room. We loved the view out the window. We loved Boppard. We loved how easy it was to walk around, to take a one day boat tour. This is a German resort town. Most restaurants did not have English menues and most people did not speak English. The local train situation was unpleasant. Getting in and out of Boppard meant local trains that were often late and very over crowded. Reservations were not possible and we had to stand on the train for an hour ride from Boppard to Mains. The Hotel provided the minimum possible in amenities. Cleaning consisted of making the beds and emptying the trash cans. There was no refrigrrator. The maid did not remove diry plates or replace the room's bottle of water when empty. The batroom floor needed washing but even though I requested it, it wasn't washed. Only one of their 3 hotel restaurants was open the entire time we were there. It served a nice breakfast. Reservations were required for diner which was a buffet. It wss booked up the night we arrived. We never ate dinner in this restaurant. The hotel had a pateo trestaurant which was only open 2 of the nights we wete there. The first night we were able to get a nice take out diner to eat at one of the tables in their 3rd restaurant, which was closed. We also got a take away dinner there the second night, but the food was not freshly prepared. After that this pateo restaurant was also closed. Fortunately, there are plenty of restaurants in Boppard that were open.

The hotel is in a good position in Boppard near the railway station and adjacent to the river promenade. Well suited to explore this part of the Rhine. Nice atmosphere, room we had was arranged around the central car park of the hotel, so that departing motor bikes cause noise. Walls of the rooms are very thin so toilet and other sounds from neighbouring rooms can be disturbing at night.

Great location, lovely hotel with huge potential. Some tiny niggles - car parking, breakfast could have had more choice…. The infrastructure is there for a superb hotel - just needs few tweaks to be absolutely top notch.

The hotel was very well situated and the room was very good value for our money. The reception attendant was very helpful regarding finding appropriate train schedules to get to Berg Eltz castle on the weekend and would give him a five ⭐️ rating! The only negative was when we asked for ice for our room the second time when the senior bar attendant gave my wife grief about not buying our drinks from the bar which was quite incredulous as he did not know what we were even using it for. The restaurant provide quite good food and we would definitely recommend it. Overall I would recommend this hotel for comfort, location and overall satisfaction.

Rude, ignorant, aggressive snd confrontational staff. Cleaning staff that just walked into your room without knocking, in the end we had to have the do not disturb sign on the door the whole time, resulting in our room not being serviced for our entire stay. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Extra charge for parking your car at the hotel. If you want an enjoyable, relaxing time in Boppard DO NOT stay at the Ebertor
