Four Points Flex by Sheraton Goettingen

Friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast quite good. Overall a very good hotel. I would recommend it for visitors to Göttingen. It is located within a short distance to the train station, and short walk to the centre of the town.

No coffee/tea in room. No cups/glasses at all. Carpet very dirty in hallway. Staff agrrwd to have car stipped in front to check in and then insistwdnon charging w Euros 17 justbto be stopped there.

Our room was exactly as expected , clean , comfortable and quiet. We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel and were within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and cafes. Parking just across the road was also very convenient.

The hotel has no clear signs set up how to access parking at the hotel. As a consequence, we parked across the street in a parking garage only to discover the next day that the hotel has parking space if you pass a gate that apparently is open all the time which is not apparent from the road. It also is somewhat obscure why the hotel is charging for parking when the spots are not marked at all, and cars can enter the area as there are a cinema and other public venues (event center, museum) located as well as three restaurants, all of whom are not associated with the hotel. The interior of the hotel has the vibe of a youth hostel as far as I am concerned, and when I booked the hotel, its name was 'GHotel' which changed to 'Four Points Flex' in a matter of weeks (and listed 'Marriott' as the wifi access point provider) which just sounds weird. The wifi was virtually absent. we had very spotty internet access. If you come by train, the hotel is on convenient walking distance. Other than that, it has no distinguishable qualities from other hotels.

The facility was not very nice. It was a bit rundown.

Good stay, staff very efficient. Bottled water in room a nice touch although missed the kettle to make a hot drink!

Nice and quite new hotel, very nice staff, right at the train station

I dont know why this hotel is 4 star. We stayed in July there is no air conditioning in the hotel.you have to open windows and hear people yelling while you try to sleep. During covid times, signing papers and checking in takes longer than reading and signing a job contract. On Hotels.com the checkin process was simple but in reality its the other way around. I dont know if its only for us foreigners or not.. I've stayed in 2 star hotel the night before and to be honest, it was much better. I will NOT recommend this hotel.

The desk is good to work with 2 laptops. Parking is offered but not safe and in a different location, so you pay extra. I was lucky, it was not busy and could use one of the 10 hotel parkings for the stuff. Ask the grown lady, not the young ones. It's a 8 minutes walk to the station.

Convenient location. Quiet, clean rooms. Outstanding breakfast available.

Due to the temperature in the rooms, sleep was restless and lack of airconditioning didn't help. hotel overall is good and the breakfast is nice and location ideal next to the station and walking distance to the town centre.

It's a serviceable business type hotel. Unfortunately it was well over 30 degrees when i stayed and there was no air con in my room. So the option was hot or open a window but the hotel is on a busy road opposite the train station so then it was also noisy. That said the breakfast was excellent and the staff were really nice too. It is also located only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Gottingen. No aircon in summer lets the hotel down unfortunately.

Great place to stay, lots of reasons to come back.
