Holiday Inn HAMBURG - CITY NORD by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Hotel staff was nice. The location was good - near a park and easy public transportation. It was clean, convenient and very comfortable.

Kitchen closed very early, and just poor communication

Everything went smoothly from the welcome at thw reception. The room was spacious, the view from our room was great, everything was very clean. The bar staff was very friendly, The hotel is very close to the subway and it’s about 20 minutes away from downtown. On weekends, the public parking outside is free.

We loved our room and the staff was friendly but you will have to pay extra for parking if you don’t want to try and find a spot on the street.

The service at the front desk was responsive and excellent. They answered our questions and looked up the information for the S Bahn to the airport for a red-eye.

A great few days staying close to family. Great connections to both bus and tube into the city. Lots of choice for breakfast and our room was spacious and comfortable. Area was a tad run down, but very close to the park.

No walkable eating options....continental breakfast should be included or reduced prices....

The room was very cold and asked for it to be turned up but was told the hotel doesn't allow it to go past 25°C. Then asked for an extra blanket and was told i had to come get it myself from the lobby.

Close to airport. Checked us in to our room earlier than 3pm.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Hamburg Airport and city centre. Carpark was easily accessible. Excellent choice for families and business travellers.

I enjoyed my stay here and would definately book again when I sm in Hamburg.

They say parking is available, but the garage is very small and street parking is limited.

Amazing hotel in a wonderful location. Staff are super kind and accomodating and this location is both super accessible by public transportation and a 10 min taxi ride to the airport.

Good location to the airport

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Hamburg was a major disappointment. First off, the cleanliness of the hotel was unacceptable. My room was dirty, with visible stains and dust that made me question whether it had even been properly cleaned. To add to the frustration, the manager I encountered was not only rude but also exhibited racist behavior. Instead of resolving my concerns, they were dismissive and condescending, which only made the situation worse. I was promised a refund for my troubles, but after following up, the management flat-out refused to honor that commitment. It feels incredibly dishonest and unprofessional. On top of all this, the internet connection was painfully slow, making it difficult to get any work done. Overall, my experience at Holiday Inn Hamburg was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend staying here—there are much better options available!
