Radisson Blu Senator Hotel

Beautiful hotel, great amenities and spacious comfortable room.

On attending hotel reception staff were smartly dressed and cheerful .We arrived early but were able to use their storage facilities for our luggage until the room was ready . Our room was spacious ,clean and with a view of the River and church Breakfast was excellent and much to choose from . On our request we asked a waiter Manfredolin to arrange a surprise birthday cake for our friend whilst we were at dinner which he did . On our return from the xmas market we used the pool and sauna facilities Great place to relax after the walk . All in all The Raddison was faultless and a great Hotel to consider The decor within the hotel was stylish and the Christmas decorations perfectv

Room was extremely warm and the windows would not open. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

In our multi day trip around northern Germany, this was our favorite hotel. Fantastic location close to all of Lübeck attractions, great breakfast, comfortable bed, nice room, great service. Loved it.

Breakfast wonderful. Sauna really nice and a pool to cool off in. Location perfect with a superb view of the city. If you like running you should go for a lap along the path around the city or just walk part of it.

A bathroom was a little bit small than I used to. But the hotel was very clean. The staff is nice and polite. The breakfast was very good. We could find many things to eat and drink. The hotel itself designed nicely andit is very close to the old city.

Excellent hotel, no issues at all for us. There may be a potential drawback with noise from the outside. We noticed it early in the evening but fortunately it was only brief and not a problem. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu in Lübeck in mid-August. We booked the hotel for two main reasons: location & air conditioning. Fully satisfied on the first, totally unsatisfied on the second. The hotel amenities displayed online, specifically the A/C are totally misleading. After we checked-in, we turned the A/C on and noticed no cold air coming out of the vent despite placing the setting on lowest temperature. After 3 hours, the temperature in the room had remained unchanged. We called the front desk and we got an off-the-chart explanation: the A/C will drop the temperature by a maximum of 3C from the outside temperature (at check-out we were told it was 5C). Anyway, how can you be comfortable during hot days? During our stay the temperature was 31C. It is unacceptable for a brand name hotel to not allow guests to set there own room temperature. Saving the environment perhaps? In that case, need to ban all combustion engine mode of transportation! Saving money is a more plausible explanation. Other negative: shaggy carpet that has accumulated dust and mites and other allergens for probably over 15 years. Time to upgrade to hygienic hard surfaces. For EUR 180 / night, that Radisson is not at par with the hotel category it is claiming. We also filed a complaint with Radisson headquarters.

Excellent base for visiting Lubeck.

Rich breakfast, soft beds

Loved property, staff very friendly helpful.. problems for them to address: Dinner at Nautilo awful. Must be new chef: our 2 sreals were woefully undercooked ant sent back, another payron found his ribs also undercooked.....breakfast there eas fine...pool nice, needs gym...disliked shag carpeting in bedroom...our AC in bedroom so weak as to be ineffectual...Rm2010...and during heatwave it was unbearable. We stayed at this 5star hotel specifically for promise of AC...

Great hotel and service from the front desk staff

The biggest problem was the airconditioning in room 1111. Max temp outside was 25 deg. After 12 hrs with airconditioning on max temp in room was 25 degrees! Not good

Great room and amenities, Except for the green shag carpet in the room. Rug held odors and allergens that were noticeable. Good location. Nice restaurant and bar onsite. Helpful staff.

Perfectly located hotel for visiting the beautiful city of Lübeck. Easy to find and good parking. Large well furnished rooms. Ours had a lovely river and old town view. Good quality bed linens, soft, fluffy towels and, thankfully, no cushions on the bed! Excellent shower and bathroom. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. It was a lovely place to stay.

Loved this place. The rooms were great - we had adjoining. The breakfast was AMAZING! The best I’ve ever had. The beautiful restaurant it is served in, the choices, good coffee, cheeses, eggs, salads meat, fish, juices……. I loved it. Good location to walk to Christmas markets. Parking onsite. Sauna available. A bar. I would recommend.
