ibis Styles Accra Airport

It was overall a comfortable stay with very good services and staff. The shuttle was waiting for us at the airport. We just stayed overnight and left the hotel in the morning. One thing missing was that the breakfast was not included in the price (though we knew it when booking).

It was an exceptional stay, delicous food and excellent staff.

Great for price and location

The staff is courteous, friendly respectful and professional. The property is at very convenient location. The main problem was that the front door steps do not have a railing to hold onto going up and down; therefore, some people, especially seniors, have difficulty in navigating the front steps.

The staff there are a pleasant to deal with. Right from the airport to the check in and dining and check out was amazing. Smiles on their faces and they are always proactive. Sylvia (Emefa) was very great, she went out of her way to help me on my check out day. Will definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at Ibis Styles. Housekeeping was amazing, as they daily kept my room clean and refreshed supplies without request. The WiFi was good also, but the TV was tiny and had some issues. The first room I was assigned had a bed/headboard that did not smell good, but the hotel switched me to a newer bed and headboard. While it was clean and fresh, the new bed was super firm and made for uncomfortable sleep. The breakfast was lovely especially the omelette bar! The coffee wasn’t the best. Surrounding the hotel is some construction so the views and walking in the neighborhood is not the best. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had an uncomfortable conversation with a porter in my room asking probing questions about where my spouse was and why he wasn’t with me. As a solo female traveler in a room alone with a male, that made me feel unsafe. Staff ought to be trained on professionalism as well as boundaries — I’d expect the porter to just put the bags in the room and immediately leave.

Great location and the staff was amazing

Room was a little stuffy. It felt like the air condition was really not blowing, but instead felt like just the fan alone was blowing. And yes, I made sure the thermostat was set to AC. Aside that, it was great place to stay. I loved the complementary airport drop-off shuttle which operated every hour.

Unfortunately all power sockets are under the table which are not easily accessible.

If you’re looking for a reliable and budget-friendly hotel, Ibis Hotel is a great choice. They offer modern, comfortable rooms with essential amenities, making them ideal for business and leisure travelers. Their location is very convenient—near city center and the airports. I really enjoyed it

The staff was great the security. The food was good. The only problem the room is too small.

Overall good stay

It was generally good but I was disappointed that the two treadmills in the gym were not in good working order - one completely out of order and one dangerously jerking every few seconds!!

Personally did not like the property because immediately entering the hallway of the hotel I smelled mold. The rooms air does not circulate well either which made me feel congested I didn’t stay for more than 4 hrs before checking out the same day. I have severe allergy to dust and mold and I started to have watery & burning sensation of my eyes.

The property was visually nice when you walked in, but the Lobby was ALWAYS hot and humid. There was never air conditioning used there. The actual rooms were not really that nice with old "goodwill" looking furniture and peeling paint on the walls. The food in the morning was good. The staff for the most part was nice, although they tried to say I hadn't paid for my rooms through Expedia when I initially arrived and said my name was not on the ledger. I had to show her my name on the computer as she kept saying it was not. I also found out later they tried to do the same thing to my son and daughter in law when they arrived. All rooms had been prepaid. There were also a lot of men just hanging out and sitting in the lobby area all the time. The internet went down for two days straight so I had no phone service, nor could I connect my computer. The surrounding downtown area was not very nice with old uncompleted structures sitting empty next to the property. You could not walk around that area at all. So, to leave you had to have transportation or UBER. I would not stay there again and would have preferred staying at the nearby MARRIOT instead for a few more dollars a night.

The stay was fine but the airport transfer driver was late. He arrived at the hotel at 10.50am. I saw him pull up but hotel staff told me to wait. The driver left to “drop someone somewhere” and was late returning for the 11am shuttle. I had a flight to catch at 12pm and check-in closed at 11.15am — and the driver arrived back at the hotel at 11.12am. It was pretty frustrating.
