The hotel is central. Opposite a train station so that was good for moving around Athens. The room didn’t have iron which I found odd. I did ask at the reception for iron and had to ask twice. When eventually the iron was brought in, there was no ironing board so had to iron on the bed.
Apart from that, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. Will definitely stay there again

The staff at Athens Tiare was exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and friendly. The Barista, the front desk, the bellman, the doorman.
The breakfast was delicious with so many options. The family adjoining room was comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. There was some street noise, similar to staying NY city, but it didn't bother us.

Hotel is very close to metro station. Good breakfast selection. However hotel is very basic from lobby to rooms. Walls are very thin so you can hear neighbours & street noise. There was someone smoking in bathroom, so we were not able to use it for some time. Of course this not hotels fault.

Was very dissapointed because when I checked in, the front desk insisted that my booking is only restricted to the 1st to 4th floor, and they refused to give me a room on the higher floor, claiming that fountain view means lower floor so that you can see the fountain more clearly (this is nonsense as one can enjoy the fountain even on the higher floors).
On all the hotel booking site, there is no mention that fountain view rooms are only restricted to the 1st to 4th floor (there is no options for higher floor fountain view in the booking at all, just the option for Fountain View or Lycabettus view).
I came back to this hotel because I had stayed here on my last visit to Athens and was given a room at the higher floor with a very nice view. Want to enjoy the same nice experience again but is deeply dissapointed this time by thier attitude.
If there is such a restrictions it should have been clearly stated in the booking details.
