Grand Anse Beach Palace

I loved everything about this stay! I cannot wait to have an opportunity to come back. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the air conditioning worked so well. We came for a weekend getaway and this place didn’t disappoint! Walking distance to the beach and lots of food. I truly loved my stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough.

The food if the two restaurants nearby was amazing and the beach was clean. The room was cozy and well kept. Great Wi-Fi connection! Definitely going back soon!

Mouse droppings,dead bird behind the bed once no water to shower had to use a bucket bucket house keeping basic every three days

Absolutely beautiful place that gives the true flavor of the island culture. We avoid the commercial hotels whenever possible so that we can truly emerge ourselves in the experience and this hotel is a luxury retreat without commercial property monotony.

I loved this place! Step out of the gate straight on to Grand Anse Beach, fabulous sunset view from my balcony and I slept like a log to the sound of the waves. Solo female traveller and I felt very safe here. The staff were friendly and helpful and my one bed apartment was clean and tidy with everything I needed. Yes, it's an older property and certainly not the Ritz, but the price reflects that. One night at the Silversands next door cost more than my 10 night stay; same beach, same view! Hoping I'll be back here next year and for a longer stay! Thanks to all the staff for a great holiday. Look forward to seeing you again.

As soon as I saw the room, I demanded a refund. There is no curb appeal. From the entrance side of the building, it looks all run down. The website shows a beach. It doesn't exist. The water goes right up to the wall. It looks like the balcony was cut in half, and a small kitchen was added. The place was outdated. The kitchen equipment was in poor condition. There were only three parking spaces. It was a total maze to get to the room. The Wi-Fi wasn't strong enough to pull in a signal. When I told them all that, they immediately issued a refund without hesitation.

The plus points are that the apartments were close to the beach, the bed was comfy and the air on worked. The bad points were numerous, as the building had been neglected for years and needed total modernisation and decoration. Our bedroom used to be a restaurant and all the power sockets were in the wrong place. There was only one bedside cabinet and that had no handle. There was an iron but no board. The washbasin was cracked and there was no plug. The mastic around the washbasin was disgusting. The kitchen cooker was ancient so we never used it. There was no kettle. The kitchen woodwork was rough and inside the cupboards was dirty. The cutlery was from a car boot sale. No plug in the sink. The fire exstinguisher was empty. There was a cockroach on the floor. Access to the sea was at the bottom of the garden but it was dangerous due to a wonky handrail and green algae on the last step. I attach a few photos.

Positives first. Friendly staff, right on waterfront and good aircon. Thats it. Kitchen was ansolutely horrible, bathroom door coukd not close and the tiling mismatched and chipped. The towel rail fell off 3 times. Wardrobe had black mold patches and the safe did not work. Handles missing from cabinets, stained sheets, hit and miss hot water and room cleaning. Its also a difficult location as its a long walk to the supermarket and the reception cannot supply base essentials like milk or water. Room no. 30 was a fire hazard. No smoke alarm, but no way out in case of a fire in the building, other than a 20ft drop off the balcony!!!! Overall very poor, but the worst thing was the constant intermittent noise in the roof space.in our top floor room...like a massive hairdryer. The reception team could not or would not explain what this was, and it prevented decent sleep for 4 nights. AVOID.

Staff particularly the manager were friendly but a Palace it certainly ain’t. Kitchen utensils and pans were filthy. No cleaning, no tidying in the 4 days we were there despite a notice to say it would be done every second day. Entrance to the beach covered in algae which made it hazardous. Put you off Grenada which otherwise has so much to offer.

Comfortable room, nice ocean view, quiet, good cable TV, near the bear, friendly staff. No shampoo, no hair dryer, no silverware, under the bed needs more cleaning.

Lighting towards pathway needs to be lighted,and pathway also has water dripping downstairs as you pass by.Staff is very nice particularly the young man.My AC,wasn't working and gave me another room while he got it fixed. Its not the most upscale,but cery convenient and quiet. I'll definitely go back there.

Amazing room with every amenity that you would need. All of the staff were friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and professional. The hotel created a peaceful atmosphere. We felt safe at all times. Grounds crew kept the place looking beautiful without being noisy. The entire property was quiet while having quite a few guests. The cleaning crew did a great job with our room every time they came, and informed us via a printed letter how Christmas Day and Boxing Day would be handled. Catching a bus into town/the capital or to go shopping further south was very simple as there was a bus stop just up the hill.

Beautiful property right on Grand Anse Beach. Lovely, helpful staff. I would love to return and recommend here highly. Many thanks to the staff for helping me to have an amazing stay in Grenada.

Property had a nice island vibe. It was right on the beach, which was awesome. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely plan a stay again
