Location is amazing, super central, in a quiet street, near several transports. 2 steps away from the city park and the main avenue (Andrassy). Would need refurbishment, it is very 70s, but if it was, the price would be different. Very clean.

Hard place to review on one hand the staff are incredible. Any issues or questions they are on hand and happy to help. Can’t speak highly enough about how good the staff are. On the other hand the whole building is dated. A lot of things in my room were in relatively poor condition. The wardrobes handle was broken, the fridge was okay but noisy and could do with a clean. The bed was uncomfortable but the worst part was the hotel doors. They had actual physical keys that required a bit of force to lock. This meant any guests coming home late were very loud and disruptive. The location is perfect with shops around you and you’re roughly 10min walk from a zoo, 30min walk from all the main attractions and 30 mins from a shopping center. The airport was also only 30min drive away. The hotel is a great place to stay and explore and the staff are fantastic. It just feels a bit of shame that the building needs some refurbishments to make it more comfortable and modern.

Rooms very clean, staff very helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good. They even prepared us a packed breakfast since we had to leave early in the morning. 4 mins walk away from bus and train stops. Very close to puskas arena. The only thing is that the bathroom needs a good renovation but still spotlessly clean. Will surely return if I come back to Budapest 😁

We stayed in Hotel Benczur for 4 nights in Budapest. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in a good location. It is close to the city park which has attractions such as the Szechenyi baths, Budapest zoo, Vajdahunyad castle. It is also a 10 min walk from the subway which can take you further into the main city in about 20 minutes. The hotel itself is old and dated, but the rooms were relatively clean. The air conditioning was a bit unreliable which was sometimes uncomfortable. The breakfast was good and overall the value of the hotel was decent for the price.
