Very friendly staff. The guests were a bit noisy.

The property was very close to the downtown areas and the church nearby, bubt that was it. The hostel is basic barebones, just some bunk beds and shared bathrooms. Bathrooms were not clean and kitchen was ok. So if you need a place to stay and only need to crash for a few hours, this place is perfect.

This is a very clean hostel (including the shared bathroom!) in a convenient location in Reykjavik. We are a family ages 55, 54, 18, 17, and we would definitely stay again—even we parents would stay here if traveling on our own. We were very pleased and the savings allowed us a spa adventure!

I like the diming option where you can cook your food, condiments provided, pots, pans, dishes are available for you to use. There are left food from prwvious guests that you can take if you want. The wifi connection though isnt the best in our room. The router isn't reachable enough on the farthest area. We usually stays in the kitchen or the reception area so we can get a wifi. The resr is ok. Rooms fine, few shower rooms and bathroom outside oir room. There's sink inside the room at least for you to use to brush uour teeth.

Great location w free parking. A few of the big landmarks and great restaurants are nearby. Check in and check out were extremely easy which I appreciated.

Loved how quiet and way it was

I’ve stayed at both hostels in this property. I booked a private room this stay. The beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly. There was a light out in one of the bathrooms but there was no wait time for showers. The kitchen is located at the back of the hostel so that was a little difficult to find. I like the location as everything is walkable. I will stay here again 😊

The decor is garish and the rooms have the same vibe as a hospital room. We stayed in a twin room with shared bathroom. It was okay because we only arrived around 10pm and left at 8:30am, and we went out for over an hour looking for the northern lights. I would not stay any longer to be honest. The sheets used on the bed and pillow are a harsh texture which is a bit uncomfortable. There was a strange graffiti style wall art of naked women on the wall. There were two toilet cubicles in the shared bathroom, plus a toilet/shower combo. Think one toilet was out of service. Toilets were relatively clean. Definitely bring flip flops/sliders/etc if you’re staying here. There is a small free car park, which is something we were looking for in a booking. You are sent an access code about an hour before check-in opens. You use one code to enter the hostel from outside and one to enter your room. I did not see a single staff member anywhere.

The room was great overall. It is spacious and clean. Kitchen is fine. It have all the essential and oven, however, there is not enough dinning space. The place always got crowed during dinner time. The lounge kept closed until my last day. Some hair dryer also not working.

Amazing hostel, private room. Highly recommend, 20 min walk to downtown and lots of great bars!

We enjoyed our stay there. The only comment is rhat there is no hook in rhe shower room
