This is a lovely hotel in central Reykjavík. Very comfortable and clean. Will absolutely stay here again when we return.

Room was big for a single. The shower water was a bit temperamental. The room was warm as well.

Excellent location. Spacious room. Elevator. My only complaint is that parking is not guaranteed. They need to modify their expedia listing to explain that it's first come, first serve. After a long journey, it is frustrating to receive surprises like that. We searched for street parking and paid for it.

Great hotel in the center of Reykjavik! It was right on one of the main entertainment strips, but sat back in so it was nice and quiet. We were steps away from restaurants and dining and just a few doors down from our favorite night time entertainment at the Bookstore Bar!

Stayed here for one night in early December. It is an ideal location for a tourist. Right in the heart of Reykjavik. Walk to everything "touristy." They included a breakfast in a nice attached restaurant/bar. Very convenient and good quality. There are multiple buildings comprising this hotel. Ours was attached at the back, so you go outside and walk to a separate entrance nearby. You can access this building without going thru the lobby. The room was nice - we had a one bedroom and an attached living space, a sleeper sofa with a small kitchen. Thats worked well for us. All in all, a lot to like about this property. I'd give it 4.5 stars. The staff and lobby was not as polished as the Hotel Alda, down the street, but on nearly equal footing overall.

Hotel was in the perfect location, could walk to everything! Good location for catching tour buses too! Clean, friendly and lovely hotel. Very laid back approach and even loaned me a travel plug as I brought the wrong one!! Free of charge too! Breakfast was continental style and plenty of choice, perfect to set you up for the day. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved this place. Great location

The location is great but parking is very limited. Even after reserving a space, I wasn't able to park there the first night. Room was clean but with some missing or broken items.

The room was clean and good size. It feels like walking into IKEA, basic and austere. It’s interesting that the hot water comes directly from the volcanic hot springs. Therefore the hot water has a strong liver of sulphurs odour. The cold water comes from the mountain and we were able to wash off the odour. The hotel is situated in the middle of downtown across from a bar. So Friday and Saturday nights are a little bit noisy with bar goers and the thumping of the music.

Excellent room, friendly staff

The hôtel location was excellent right downtown with tons of stores including grocery stores near by. The staff super friendly and the check in and out process was simply and fast. The breakfast was simply but fantastic - fresh, tasty. Highly recommend
