St Parklane Airport Hotel Chennai

Nice hotel, close to the Chennai airport. Shuttle service to and from airport.

We only stayed a night, hotel was a bit rundown, aircon in my sons room didn't work. Area around the hotel was a bit rundown and grubby, but we wanted close to the airport which this hotel ticks off. Went to the restaurant in the evening staff appeared terrified to have a customer and disappeared, it took 40 minites to even place an order. When it came food was tasty and plentiful. Checkout and transfer back to the airport was good and efficient. Checkin took ages and we had been travelling for 24 hours and just wanted our rooms.

Beautiful hotel

This hotel is near the airport and has a 24hr airport shuttle which was just what we wanted. The hotel OK, a bit tired maybe. The area it is in is also OK although there's no restaurants outside it, we had dinner at the hotel and it was great.

No toilet paper. Flushing non-functional. Cable TV not working.

The only good thing about the property is how close it is the airport. The shuttle pick up was a fiasco, I messaged the hotel twice about when I was arriving and had no response, I ended up calling 5 times and waiting half an hour to be picked up. I didn't have an Indian SIM card as I was only here for a night, so it made it extra difficult. Apparently the hotel expected me to have the phone number of the driver although they never gave it to me. Shuttle back to the airport in the morning was much smoother, which I was grateful for. Although the seat belts for guests are broken. The rooms are shabby and various things broken, there was no toilet paper in the room. I asked to change rooms as the window was broken and didn't shut, and it would have been possible for someone to access the room from the alley outside. The hotel staff tried to fob me off saying the place was fully booked so I couldn't change rooms, but this wasn't the case. I found the staff to be unfriendly and unwelcoming, other than the shuttle driver in the morning.

I stayed at the property just for few hours before flying to Singapore, everything was okay but looks like they don’t change the bedsheets, it smelled dirty

The staff was absolutely amazing!!!! The food was great and the ride from the airport was key. Especially since we arrived at 2 in the morning.

It was nice to spend a day before travel. Good restaurant in side for dining. Staff was helpful ! Courteous! It was a great stay.

The Hotel itself is very good. The staff were polite and very helpful. The dining is a bit expensive for that area. The surrounding area is not very convenient.

1. No hot water 2. Beds were not good and noisy 3. No air circulation and sticky floors 4. Bathroom was slippery

Great budget hotel, without the frills of luxurious and expensive hotels. Close to the airport, provides free shuttle and nice breakfast. Will definitely come back if I return to Chennai.

Proximity to the airport is the plus and the airport shuttle back to the airport was very convenient & excellent service. Staff struggled to communicate with clarity about the shuttle on arrival. So I took a taxi. The check in was long and the person struggled to find the visa on my passport. The first room I was given had damp infested wall. So refused to stay on that room.

A handy little hotel to stay the night before flying out of Chennai. Unfortunately, the area around the hotel is very average and the result is having to get a cab to get dinner or using the somewhat restricted menu available at the hotel.

Pleasant stay near airport.

It's an average hotel. Satisfactory for the price. There's a roach problem in the rooms. Fixtures are broken. Staff are helpful and food is pretty good.
