It was really good staff were helpful n courteous..we really enjoyed Awadh diner ..amazing hospitality with good manners ..i would suggest that reception desk should have more polite n welcoming interaction .one of young chap was very rude ..which could ruin the first hand experience...but otherwise all staff were amazing ..coffee shop staff was so warm welcoming ..overall very good stay

Good staff, good service but old pluming.

Perfect location for US Embassy business.

We chose this hotel for proximity to elite shopping. At checkin there were 5 staff people at the desk & they were very distracted & & it took them almost 1/2 hour for them to check us in. Blasting music from 10 pm to 5 am is not suitable for sleep. We had to change our room at midnight as we could no longer take the noise.

The hotel is in a very good location and it is extremely safe. The breakfast was excellent--freshly made items, lots of variety and good service. But for a 5-star hotel, the wifi was incredibly bad. The connection was unstable during my entire stay. The wi-fi would cut out literally every few minutes. Despite multiple complaints, it did not get better. The other issue was noise. The hotel staff would often gather in the hallways and chat loudly or shout at each other across the hallway, even late in the night.

Service requires major improvement.

Seems old school and outside noise

We stayed for 5 nights at the ashok in room 423 the executive suite. It was a sleepless experience. The bedroom window did not close and was directly above the banquet hall and outdoor dancing. The lounge room balcony door did not close properly and was directly above a night club. For 5 nights we endured very loud indian music that did not stop until approx 2 am. On the fifth night I rang reception at 11.45pm to ask when it will stop. Was informed at 1.00am. Waited until 1.47am and rang again nothing changed despite promises. Went down to reception at 3.15am to complain. Music was turned down. I rang reception 5 times that night. They promised to stop the music but did not. This hotel is aware that all rooms above the banquet hall will endure noise all night from their functions and do nothing about it. It is not a hotel that ensures that guests who pay alot of money to stay, can rest and sleep, instead it puts ahead profits in its entertaining. Only after complaits to the manger were made that were we changed to the the "quiet" area. Management knows and does nothing. Horrible experience in a run down hotel. The bathroom had a window into the bedroom and the lights in the bathroom coud not be turned off except by the pulling out the key at the door. Definitely not 5* Worse still our inital complaints had not been escalated and the day shift staff apparently knew nothing.

Room furniture was broken, outlets not working, room service slow

Stayed in suit… very bad shape, no cleaning, very poor response from staff. Breakfast very ordinary

Worst experience ever

This hotel does not have a free airport shuttle as advertised on Orbitz The tall youth with the sparkly glasses should not be in customer service. He is too casual and rude.

The reception staff was so inefficient and had to change my room two times. They gave me key but there was people in the room. Then gave me another room that had broken ceiling walls and twin beds when I booked a double bed. Only after I sought the manager and spoke to him that I was able to get a good room. The whole process took more than an hour to check in after arriving to the hotel after a long trip from US. There was only two receptionist counter open to check in when there was more than 7 staff standing at the counter. When I checked out, the staff said they lost the receipt of my payment of ₹26000 and asking me to give them a copy. I had thrown it in the garbage in the room and I had to go to the room to find it. This delayed my check out process by 30minutes further causing my taxi to wait for another 30minutes and rushing to the airport. This was ridiculous. At night there was loud music playing until 1am for both the nights I stayed and it greatly disrupted my sleep and rest.

Needs serious upgrade.

It's a big n good property

The property was clean, and the room was large and comfortable. Internet was not user friendly. Property needed maintenance Inconvenient room service menu Breakfast only average...poor coffee and tea service, limited fruit

This Hotel is over staffed and has poor service. Staff often come to ask for tips, without providing service. It has a threadbare appearance, poorly maintained, dirty, poor value for the money. I will never stay there again.

carpets smells, reception was poorly schooled about how to use wifi. Door keys malfunction randomly and you have to go to reception to get it replaced. Housekeeper told me that it generally happened due to some electronic interference. Requested to send someone to help us with AC issue and it took them ages to knock my door. I mean poor Cleanliness was at height. I will never think of coming over here in my even dreams.
