My first trip to Gunung Kidul, I chose a random hotel from an app. It was close to Indrayanti Beach. I made the right choice: Hotel Radika is top-notch, offering excellent service and a truly pleasant atmosphere. It's perfect for those seeking peace and a break from the work world. I tried a sharia hotel, and the room facilities were quite complete. I deliberately chose a room with bunk beds for the kids to experience. Although small, it still had enough space and was comfortable. Because we really only came here to sleep and rest after a long day of traveling around. What I really liked was that all areas, including the room, were CLEAN🫶🏻 Highly recommended for those traveling around Wonosari & Gunung Kidul.

For those looking beyond the typical tourist circuit, Paliyan provides a refreshing perspective on Indonesian travel.

The region of Paliyan is not a monolithic entity but a mosaic of distinct neighbourhoods, each offering a unique flavour and atmosphere. From the coastal allure of Purwosari and Tanjungsari to the more inland, community-focused areas like Playen and Wonosari, the choice of where to base yourself significantly shapes your journey.
