We stayed for two nights. The location is very strategic, close to everything, and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our first experience staying at Chantya exceeded our expectations. The room price is affordable, the room is quite clean, there is a swimming pool, and a well-maintained gym. The distance from the hotel to the city center is also not too far. If you are a fan of bread and Mediterranean food, please stop by ViaVia Bakery and Mediterranea by Kamil Store. It is only 1.5 km from Chantya. Want to stop by Jogokariyan Mosque? You can. It is about 950 meters from the hotel. Hopefully the review helps you make your choice.

The bedsheets and pillowcases were worn and stained. The towels were also worn, like they were used. The threads around the edges were frayed.
The hot water didn't work, the shower area was cramped, and there was no tap for ablutions (wudu) for guests. So, they had to use the shower or the sink.

The hotel feels like an old hotel. The room I stayed in, but the door was a bit loose, so if someone wanted to peek, they could be seen. My husband and I covered it with a long cloth on top of the bed cover to keep it quiet.
