Booked 2 connecting non-smoking rooms but got smoking rooms, so it smells musty & the AC is not cold and cannot be set. Parking is narrow but there is a free valley. Not suitable for staycation, ok for transit.

I stayed in the comfy room on the hight floor. Large room and clean. Got good city view from my room. They don't served mineral water in the room but they provide water jug and gallon of water in the alley in each floor. So, we can easily refill mineral water anytime. Toiletries complete, but when I called the housekeeping to ask for the towels, it took quite long to wait. Need some improvement. Pool is clean and have good view from there. The foods are also good. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Overall, we have good staycation in this hotel.

A 2-night staycation at Crown Prince Hotel Surabaya was quite satisfying. I booked a Cozy King room with a request for a high floor and an open view of Tunjungan—and everything was well fulfilled. In my opinion, this is one of the best city views in Surabaya, especially at night. The city lights are really beautiful and can be enjoyed from the room window, the vibes are there! The room's AC is cold and comfortable, the room is clean and tidy. The bathroom is also clean, the water flows smoothly and is not clogged. I like the shower area—there is an additional curtain and the floor is made lower, so it's not muddy after taking a shower. It's just that the lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim, hopefully in the future it can be added to make it brighter. I also tried the tiramisu. It looks beautiful and is given a small note as requested—that's a detail that I appreciate. But maybe the soaking process is not long enough, so the biscuits are still quite hard when eaten. The breakfast menu has quite a lot of variations and the taste is quite good. My personal score is 4/5 for breakfast. Room service is also fast and neat. One thing that was a bit annoying, the elevator from the lobby to the basement was not working at that time, so we had to go down the stairs while carrying our stuff. Oh yeah, this is info that maybe not many people know—in this hotel we can watch Netflix from the room TV even though we don't have a personal account. Just pay IDR 30,000 to the receptionist, then they will help set it up so that we can watch Netflix freely directly from the room. This is a pleasant plus for me! Overall, with an economical price, this hotel provides a comfortable staycation experience, a cool city view, and quite complete facilities. If you are looking for a place to enjoy the city lights of Surabaya on a budget, Crown Prince Hotel is definitely worth choosing. 🌃✨
