The hotel staff was very helpful. Because my nephew was having a wedding in Yogyakarta, my clothes in my suitcase were really wrinkled. So, I borrowed an iron from the hotel, and they immediately delivered an ironing board. They were super quick. The best.

Jambuluwuk Malioboro Hotel is a perfect choice for a family vacation. The service is friendly, the staff is helpful, and the room amenities are standard. I recommend bringing sandals from home for a comfortable stroll. The hotel is not too far from the city center, just a 10-minute walk to Malioboro. There's a children's playground and swimming pool, which are always a favorite with kids when staying at the hotel.
The neighborhood is also quite strategic. Right next to the hotel is the legendary Soto Pa Tembong, a retail store for snacks, and Soto Betawi by H. Pitung. Still short of souvenirs? Just walk a short distance to Jalan Mataram, where many souvenir shops are lined up.
