Mercure Resort Sanur

Unfortunately we had to cancel our stay after one night because we were too uncomfortable. It gets 2 stars, one for location as it is right on the beach, and one for the staff as they did help us. As for the rooms...its like sleeping on a trampoline! Dark, dungy, our balcony door would not close allowing mosquitos in, our bedsheets/pillows stained. Shower pressure almost didnt exist...the place needs an update! We could hear the neighbours next door coughing the walls were that thin. Breakfast definitely just average. My favourite being the fresh squeezed juices as that is hard to go wrong. Oh, and the Wifi works property wide, however doesnt work well, will cut in and out quite often, including in the rooms!

Rooms ok but need a little updating. Towels need replacing very grey looking. Food needs more different choices for breakfast always the same gets boring. Example different sort of danish chocolate apricot custard jam. Different juices.

Great location away from the more popular tourist areas, not crowded, quiet, beach not packed allowing for more space. Seemed to be more family friendly and more of a mature crowd. Great walkway along the length of the coast ideal for walks and bike rides. Large modern and impressive shopping centre. All cafes and restaurants visited had great service, quality meals and extremely reasonable prices. The MECURE resort was clean, staff helpful and friendly, older than some of the other resorts but also cheaper. I would most definitely stay there again. Highly recommended

We did arrive early as our flight was changed. Thankful that we could leave our bags and come back at check in time. Unfortunately room wasn't ready, should be 10-15 mins. Checked back 15mins later and told another 15... Again wasn't ready so went to a local Warung to get a drink as it was oppressively hot,mid 30and extremely humid,we came from Perth and was raining and 10 degrees. Arrived back at 3:30 and still had to wait another few minutes....they had to ring and check. Apart from the check in and no TV for a cpl days,which I only found out was fixed by accident,overall everything else was pretty good. The surrounding gardens are very green and well maintained and pleasant to walk through. Pool is large and a great temperature,not cold like most others. The breakfast selection was a highlight with so many options to choose,pancakes/waffle section and egg bar became a favourite, even got a free neck massage one day. I highly commend all the staff here,always greeting me no matter what time of day and always with a huge happy smile and I do meen every single person from the security & front desk & cleaners & gardens & maintenance & restaurant bar and pool staff , thankyou you make staying there a highlight...

Was a good location to beach walk. Breakfast was good and enough variety for me. Coffee was good. Easy walk to warungs on beach. We had Executive room but was a little dated. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure. Would stay again

Beautiful hotel in amazing garden setting. Room was quite roomy, although a bit outdated it was very comfy, clean & had great air conditioning. The area was quiet, a great place for peace & relaxation. The beach front was fantastic and the 6 km bike / walking path along the beach leading all the way to the new Icon shopping centre was amazing, with lots of places to eat & drink and little shops along the way. The buffet breakfast catered to all tastes & was substantial. I would definitely stay here again.

Let me start by saying the staff at this resort were so so lovely, the grounds were also beautiful. Great pools, pushbike hire, buffet breakfast had a lot of options, cocktails were delicious! Nice seating on the beach and quite easy to walk or take a scooter around. I also had a spa treatment which was amazing. This review is more for management. The room was run down, as in floor was chipped and stained, shower was only lukewarm, bedding/pillows felt a bit grotty. It would be worthwhile spending some money to bring the rooms up to scratch so that they match the rest of this lovely property.

This property is run down and shabby. There is mould on the buildings and has a general overuse tiredness about it. My tv didn’t work for the whole stay and mosquitoes were able to get in each night. It was not close to anything other than the hotel cafe and its special seafood buffet was over cooked fish and some side dishes. Overall very disappointing

This resort was an amazing experience, unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the SPA because it was always full, but the private beach is very close and beautiful. The staff are all amazing and very kind and friendly.

Well let me start with the setting is beautiful. Good location for walking the promenade The breakfast was acceptable but not great. And I must say that the entire resort needs to be upgraded. It has seen much better days. For the price, you get what you pay for!!!!

Nice hotel on a large property in Sanur on the beach. A nice breakfast is available for a reasonable rate. The resort is a bit spread out with easy enough access to the pools and beach. Our room was very comfortable, and larger than expected.

Property was in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was a bit disappointing compared to other hotels in it's class. Staff were wonderful. Rooms are clean but tired.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay at the Mecure for the price we paid. The property itself while beautiful is tired and at the point of badly needing a makeover. Our biggest dislike was the breakfast, walking to 3 seperate locations to get your food and drinks but no proper bacon? Porters not turning up to collect our bags when we left after we asked earlier. The little things which should be automatic we often had to chase the staff up for. Stand out staff member was Reno. We dont know where the Mecure would be without him.

Our stay is good, all the the staff very friendly, and the receptionist when we cek in very helpful.

The resort has 2 good pools , good beach location, service is excellent right through the resort , lots of choices for breakfast ,fast check in, its at the end of Sanur beach but lots of bars and restaurants and shops.Its an aging resort but well kept . Good base to explore the rest of Bali .

Fantastic place to stay and the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much bother also very quiet but only a minute or two to walk to the local bars and restaurants
