About Gili Meno

Gili Meno is a charming island that can be easily explored by foot, bike riding, or horse-drawn carriage, as motorized vehicles are prohibited. In addition to its natural tranquillity, the island offers several places of interest for visitors to discover.

On the northwest side of the island, there is an 8-hectare sanctuary that is home to a salt water lake and mangroves. This serene spot is ideal for nature lovers and bird watching, and you might even spot a monitor lizard basking in the sun.

Another highlight of Gili Meno is its turtle sanctuary, where you can witness the amazing process of baby turtles being nurtured and protected before they are released into the sea. This sanctuary is dedicated to preserving the island's sea turtle population, and it's a unique experience that you won't want to miss.
