What else to say about Apurva Kempinski? All are perfect. No negative comments. Reception is quick and helpful. Frontliner staff that accompanying us to the room, Celine, is very helpful and explained a lot. Room was great. Clean. Perfect. Bathroom are very cozy and let's not forget the automatic smart toilet. Even they serve ice cubes - as expected from 5 star hotel. Swimming pools are huge. Beach is clean and the sands are soft. Beach club also serve best foods and drinks. Transfer to/from lobby provided buggy car service and even though I'm worried at first on the availability, well that's not the case. Buggy will come within 3 minutes after we asked for one. Breakfast was superb. Food variety are good. We stayed 2 nights and really hate has to leave on the 3rd day. It was a very pleasant experience and we are looking forward to visit Apurva Kempinski again in the future. Oh and the Coral restaurant - stunning!

One of our fam favorite hotel so far. Staffs are super friendly and helpful, treat us so special. We stayed in Cliff Ocean Suite Room for several days and the view was amazing. This hotel also give us special treatment and gift for our anniversary, and gift from Koral restaurant too. Anyway our Koral experience also amazing with staff name mbak Rona ♡ Even my hard-to-impressed husband was so impressed and love it. We had our breakfast in special lounge for cliff suite guests and the staff were also amazing. Definitely will comeback soon.- I request room number in cliff ocean suite but it was not available. Hopefully it will be available when we comeback

Kempinski has always taken guest safety and well-being as our top priority in regards to strict public area sanitation as well as food safety and hygiene standards. As part of our pro activeness in monitoring the evolving Covid-19 situation, guidance and recommendations issued by our government, we have adopted several precautionary measures as below: Upon your arrival: • Baggage are disinfected upon arrival at the airport/Porte cochere • Body temp measurement upon arrival at the resort is required or at the airport by the Airport Representative when hotel transportation is arranged • Upon check-in, guest will receive Health and Hygiene Declaration Forms • All guests travelling to Bali are advised to present a COVID-19 test certificate (2x24 hours PCR test OR 1x24 hours Rapid antigen before flight) based on updated Government regulation • Guests are required to wear masks when entering the property and at the dining area • Vendor from outside the resort, which include food delivery from outside are restricted • Guests are requested not to bring food from outside the resort • Service for reheating food is discontinued during the pandemic • In line with the guidance of World Health Organization, local health authorities and ‘Kempinski White Glove’ procedures, our team member who is in direct contact with the guest will use mask and gloves

Overall Very Good, it's just that the check in time yesterday was quite long, around 1.5 to 2 hours because we checked in for 9 rooms because according to the hotel's information, many were late check outs and full because it was a holiday and luggage delivery was also delayed even though we had WA long ago to confirm the availability of rooms and the group's arrival plan beforehand, but for the inconvenience, the hotel gave more compliments as an apology and was served directly by the Duty Manager. Hopefully in the future it will be further improved and for bookings of more rooms, it is better to be able to confirm the certainty of the check in time directly so that the hotel can prepare better. A wonderful vacation here, everything was very good, the staff was very enthusiastic. When I checked out, I forgot something and the hotel quickly returned it to me. The service here is very good, I will recommend it to friends and will come back here again.

Unpleasant impression at check out.
It was very unfair treatment of the hotel staff when we were terrorized back and forth to immediately check out but were hampered by the length of time the pick-up officer never came to the room. Yes, once I left the room while all the suitcases were still in the room.
Once the items were picked up from the room, it turned out that they were not immediately sent to the front lobby because they were still waiting for other officers to pick up from the tower where our room was located.

Fast check-in process, all staff are very friendly. Comfortable hotel atmosphere. The room is also big, clean, and fragrant. And I tried the Koral restaurant too. Overall it's delicious, very comfortable for a staycation, no need to go anywhere because everything is in the hotel.

On April 26, 2025, I had breakfast at your Reef Beach Club and would like to share some feedback regarding my experience.
During my meal, I observed that the server was speaking while directly facing the food while presenting it. International dining etiquette typically advises that servers should not speak while facing the food, and dishes are often served with a cover to maintain the presentation and hygiene standards expected at an international establishment.
Furthermore, after reordering my meal and requesting it to be wrapped in plastic wrap, the server misunderstood my intention. My main concern was that the server should avoid speaking directly while handling or presenting the food by facing it. This miscommunication and the manner of service left me feeling quite uncomfortable and have discouraged me from returning.
I believe that providing additional training on international service etiquette for your staff could greatly enhance the dining experience. I hope my feedback is helpful in maintaining the high standards that The Apurva Kempinski Bali is known for.

Our recent stay at The Apurva was, as always, an incredible experience. We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, and everything—from the service to the rooms—was truly exceptional. The staff was attentive, the atmosphere was serene, and it felt like a home away from home.
This time, though, we couldn’t swim at the beach due to an oil spill affecting the sea. My niece was a bit sad about it (she even wrote a little note expressing her feelings), but we understood it was for safety reasons.
A unique moment during our stay was when a baby stork accidentally flew into one of our balconies. It seemed to injure itself and was unable to move properly afterward. Thankfully, the Apurva team responded quickly and gently rescued the little bird. It was an unexpected and touching experience that added a special memory to our trip.
Despite that small hiccup, everything else was wonderful. Thank you, Apurva, for always making our stays feel so meaningful.

It was a very memorable stay at Apurva. The luxury of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff was amazing. We opted for Deluxe Lagoon room type but upon check in we were upgraded to a villa.

We got our room upgraded to Junior Suite, and the extra bed was charged with a 50% discount. Not only was the room bigger, with our own little plunge pool, but the location of the room was also perfect. It was very close to the beach and the Reef cafe. Snack bars in the room were free of charge, and the hotel provided all the rooms with cute hats and rattan beach bags, which made it very convenient for guests to carry stuff to the pool/beach area. My kids loved the overall experience of the hotel. We will surely visit this hotel again next year.
