My favourite hotel in Bandung. My husband & I tried so many 5-star hotels in Bandung, but we always end up going back to the Papandayan. It’s a luxury classic hotel with a nice size heated swimming pool on the rooftop. The tropical Garden is a beautiful hideaway when we had enough of the warm weather. Staff members are doing extra miles to provide an enjoyable stay. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family. Tony & Dosma Green

Surprisingly, the hotel was still very clean, the room and facilities were very well-maintained. The food tasted great, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again should there be any chance going to Bandung in the future.

Overall, it's okay, comfortable, and nice. I tried the cilok, it's really delicious, and the baaso for breakfast. There was a slight problem: I couldn't press the conditioner, so I didn't use it. But it's okay. When I booked the room, I requested a welcome cake and a high floor. It turned out there was no welcome cake when I arrived. The high floor option was indicated according to the room type (read in the elevator). I just found out and it's my first time. Because when I checked in, it wasn't informed whether or not a welcome cake could be requested. .

Previously, we'd heard that this old hotel was haunted. But when we stayed, it didn't feel like that at all. It's an inexpensive, downtown star-rated hotel with a hot tub, a heated pool, and delicious food. However, it's often crowded, with events always taking place.

The best hotel in Bandung!!! My 2-night stay there was really comfortable, especially since the staff were all very friendly and the breakfast menu was extensive and delicious. The hotel's location is also strategic because it's in the center of Bandung, so it's close to everywhere, haha 😊

+ Nice room, comfortable pillows, friendly staff, heated swimming pool, wide variety of breakfast options, free horse-drawn carriage, close to Trans Studio, Braga, and Batagor Kingsley. We were given flowers because we were celebrating our anniversary. - There were small insects in the room, like termites. The room facing the road was very noisy with motorbikes.

The facilities and rooms are excellent. Check-in was busy, but as soon as they saw me in line, a new counter was opened. The room was luxurious and spacious, with a comfortable bed, a comfortable bathroom, and plenty of linens. Breakfast was excellent quality; it wasn't self-service, but the place was clean. The kids' club was very enjoyable. Some critiques: - The hotel is not very accessible. There are only stairs from the drop-off point to the lobby. Not disabled/elderly friendly. - Smoking is allowed in the pool area (and ashtrays are provided). A 5-star hotel like Papandayan should be able to enforce a smoke-free area in a location with lots of children.
