Pool was lovely and central in the property. The breakfast had limited choices and often the items were cold. Recently stayed at the Ayana and you were given a choice and it was sensational. We stayed in a pool access room, the doors are clunky and noisy when opening and closing. Good location but can get noisy in the restaurant as it’s located opposite the nightly music arena. Staff were great and room was cleaned.

We chose The Vira for our final two nights stay in Bali, because the location is close to the airport and the hotel also offered airport drop off which was great.
The hotel located in the main street of Kuta with plenty restaurants. Breakfast buffet was okay but we have had better from other hotels.
The room was average size, I would have preferred something slightly bigger for two travellers. Bathroom was on the smaller size.
One thing did put me off was the customer service at the front desk. We have a late afternoon flight on the day of check out. The standard check out time was 12 noon. I asked if we were able to have a late check out at 1pm, she declined and I asked again if we could check out at 12.30 and again she declined us. I found this very unreasonable, even if they have guests checking into the same room, they still have enough time to clean our room after we check out at 12.30.

My stay was amazing .
I had a suite with private and patio private pool. One of my fav features was the detached tub that sat in my room which was good for pics and aesthetics. The breakfast here was top tier and the staff was so pleasant and attentive to all my needs.
The area is so lively and full of bars, restaurants , and vendors just steps away from the hotel. Making your stay at the suites so convenient.

You can hear noise from the ceiling if you are in lower level. We were very tired and people checking in late like 2am and when they get in the room they made noise walking around the room and you can hear them from our room under. We were actually sleep and suddenly we heard noise disturbing our resting time/sleep time.

Very nice place to stay pity the temple next door was loud and over shadowed the Friday performance. Also woke us up Sunday morning with their mass. Maybe hotel needs to build high brick/concert wall to help stop noise.

Absolutely perfect little hotel. Was waiting to go the Ritz Carlton the next four days and just wanted a short stop over as we arrived at 1AM. Not a single complaint except one. By far the worst pillows I e ever encountered, bug and hard as rocks. Everybody was complaining at breakfast. Made my own pillow out of clothes in my luggage. But the hotel everywhere else is fabulous and crazy worth the money. Fantastic free buffet breakfast. Literally like the Ritz minus the pillows. RGS 2025 April
