I had the most pleasant stay here. Ubud Valley Boutique Resort has everything we need for a relaxing family vacation. We chose to stay in two bedroom private pool villas with the valley view, when we get there we found the view had exceeded our expectations, way way more amazing then the picture. Authentic balinese thematic building design, spacious and super clean room, lots of common space, infinite design private pool, wonderful scinery, all green nature and serenity. Way down on the valley we can see the river, and also several times we saw birds fly with beautiful colors across our building, which we will not find in the city. Delicious food, perfect combination of afternoon tea and great selection of breakfast menu. The hotel employees are also very friendly. Always greet us as a family and make us feel always prioritized. Staying at Ubud Valley Boutique Resort gave us an extraordinari ambiance to experience the nature of Ubud. I would highly recommend it this is one of the best stay in Ubud.

A hidden gem near Ubud.
The place is simply amazing. Can’t put down any faults. Everything was excellent.
We had a villa with infinity pool (please be aware to mention your preference while booking as only 2 villas have it) overlooking the valley and ordered breakfasts and dinners to our villa several times as it was just so beautiful and tranquil there that we didn’t want to go out. But the whole property and experience (villas, spa, restaurant with its food and drinks, morning activities, afternoon tea and snacks, service etc) were just so nice that we would already want to go back there.
Definitely the place to go and experience the luxury and impeccable service they offer.

It is gem in monkey forest. Quiet, lovely property. Breakfast is wonderful. Lunch and dinner plates are delicious. A little bit far from downtown Ubud but property has free shuttle service. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice boutique hotel, the views are incredible!!!
The hotel is outside of Ubud village so you be where locals live and the surrounding area is so quiet. We used the bikes provided from the hotel and bike around the rice fields - amazing views and you get the use real village locals and their customs, everyone so friendly. The hotel is so peaceful and great if you are looking to relax and quiet time.

We stayed in the 2 BR Villa with private pool overlooking the jungle gorge. Amazing view from the infinity pool into the jungle with a river about 200 ft below. Very private, very quiet, very comfortable. The service is excellent and the restaurant/bar was also great. It's a bit out of town (Ubud), but we had a driver to pick us up and bring around to the local sights. There is also a shuttle into Ubud a few times per day. Excellent in every way.

I dont know where to start…Outstanding service, spectacular hidden gem in Ubud. Honestly, I thibk this has been my best hotel stay. The Whole Ubud Valley family made us feel at home away from home. I travelled with my husband and my 8 month baby and I can telm you that the hotel is super comfortable and the staff are extremely nice, accomodating and trying their best for you to have the most wonderful experience.
Thank you Nia, Epa, Sulis and Komin for all the care (arranging tours, special romantic dinner, take away breakfast, indinesian bbq and great attitude!). Also, special thanks to our driver Guyan for being the most wonderful tour guide.
On top of this, we had an amazing pool villa; the hotel offers daily activities and a shuttle to the aubud city center (when I resd the previous reviews they stated that the hotel was very far away but I didnt think so. On the contrary, it is located in a calm village away from all the traffic and noise from the Ubud city center).
I hope I can come back to Bali and stat here again :)

Ubud Valley Boutique Resort has excellent service and an extremely peaceful and relaxing and quiet environment and location.
We loved having the private infinity pool overlooking the jungle and the large and comfortable bedroom, bathroom, and porch.
We tried dinner in the restaurant, but quickly realized that nearly everyone else was eating in their villa. Taking breakfast and dinner in large dining table on our private villa's porch was a lovely and memorable experience. We took complimentary western breakfasts which were yummy and extensive including choice of hot and cold drinks, pastry basket, fruit plate, and main breakfast entree. For dinner, we mostly ordered from the Indonesian cuisine selections, and they were all delicious, especially the chicken soup and whole roasted fish.
The spa was excellent service and worth a visit for a massage or other treatment. All the rest of the staff was so friendly and welcoming and responsive to our requests and questions. I loved that we were walking around the grounds after returning from a day trip and all the staff we met asked us how our trip was.
The location is remote, so keep in mind that it will take a bit of a drive to get to center of Ubud, but there is a shuttle bus available that has scheduled trips between Ubud and the hotel 3 times in the afternoon and evening.

Be aware that if you want the villa in the picture with the infinite pool you have to write a special note stating that you want the infinite pool. This was my only issue with this place. When i booked it online they advertised a picture of the infinite pool villa and had no other pictures of any other types of pool villas. So I assumed that is what i was paying for. When I arrived they gave me a totally different room with a different type of pool which was also nice but not what i paid for. I specifically wanted the infinite pool for my honeymoon and they said sorry sir you had to write a special note. Which was ridiculous since thats what they were advertising and how am I supposed to know that i had to write a note. Other then that the villa was great. Friendly staff. They fill the refrigerator every morning. They have free shuttle to the main area of ubud. The service is outstanding. And overall i had a very great experience.

Perfection. Absolutely amazing boutique hotel surrounded by rice paddies and small villages. It is poised at the top of a valley, with beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunrises. This is a very special place. I went with my teenage son to Indonesia for one month, and this is the place that we both miss the most. We stayed for a week and were sad to go. It felt like home away from home.
Highlights: sunrise yoga on the pool deck, delicious and generous breakfasts overlooking the valley, morning excursions, reading by the pool, afternoon walks and tea, sunset on the porch listening to the wildlife, delicious dinners, repeat.
The staff was super! Incredibly polite and personable, they were eager to help set up daily excursions and accommodate every need.
The room was exquisite. The design, decor, and materials are really special. This worked well for us, as we are not big shoppers and enjoyed the peace and quiet after the hustle bustle of town.
The resort, which provides shuttle service, is about 10 minutes outside of central Ubud.
I gave the local area a slightly lower score because overall there is a lot of trash in Indonesia and it really detracts from the beauty of the country. When you are inside this resort, you will feel a million miles from the trash, but it exists in the local area.
I would go back to Indonesia just to stay at this resort again. And again.
