Room was dirty, carpets stained, wall had something filthy spilled and running down it. Toilet didn't flush, shower hose was broken so most of the water shot out the hose rather than the shower head. 3 prong plug on hair dryer but only 2 prong plugins in the bathroom. Rest of the outlets in room were stripped so you couldn't plug anything in as the plug fell back out. The ottoman of the chair was broken so if you touched it it fell over. We switched to another room during the stay and it was only marginally better in that at least the toilet flushed and the shower worked. But still dirty. VERY OFF BRAND FOR A HILTON, EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED.

Probably what you should expect from a Hilton Hotel, big, smart and impersonable, - good proximity to the city (15min walk via St Stephens Park) and a great pub (Sonny McSwines) down the street (avoided the Hotel Bar on principle - when in Dublin...). Room good not great - bed a bit hard (no modern intelligent mattresses here) and the toilet could have been cleaner. Wedding party on the Saturday did intrude but quietened down at midnight. (We should have been out on the town ourselves but it had been a long day travelling!). Breakfast very good at the inclusive price. Safe basement parking a bonus too (20 euro for 24 hrs).

Lovely hotel, comfortable rooms, spotlessly clean. Great location and nice bar. Only flaw we found was there was a €50 deposit added on arrival we were not informed of at booking or prior to our arrival & while the money was taken straight away at check in for the stay the deposit takes a minimum of 3-5 days to return to account.

If I could give the staff more than 5 stars I would. Always friendly and kind. I called on them daily to get a taxi, get directions, get maps etc. They were always available to help. Housekeeping was excellent even with my 2 teenage grandsons. I was nice to have a good breakfast to start our day, Highly recommend.

Check-in was not a breeze and this is where the front desk could do better. Asked if I could check-in earlier and they wanted 120 Euros which is almost the cost of an overnight stay. I would've been ok if it was about 50 euros but ok, fine that's the hotel policy which sucks b/c check-in is at 4PM at this property. All other hotels I stayed at while Ireland had no issues with an earlier check-in, if same room type was ready and available (all similarly appointed at 4*). When it was finally time to check-in, I was tapping my card to pay for the room and security deposit but machine was not accepting my card, twice. My card was in good status and I've never had any issues traveling with it since it's a travel cc. The front desk person, if they were astute and experienced, should've suggested I insert my card instead of trying to tap it but instead suggested I step aside and call my cc company. That was a waste of my time b/c cc told me to try and insert with pin if tapping doesn't work. Other than the front desk experience, the location is close steps away from the LUAS and only a few stops to the centre of Dublin with all the areas, restaurants, bars, shopping, museums, etc. you'll want to see. Rooms are clean and well appointed.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay at. It is situated in a very good location and the staff are exceptional. Also, it is very clean and modern. We were able to walk to St. Stephen’s Green park in 15 minutes and from there we took a Hop On/Hop Off bus to different locations downtown, ie the Guinness Storehouse and Grafton Street. As well, there is a very good pub across the street called Sonny McSwiney’s that is excellent.
