What Guests Say About Their Stay

This was a lovely property, and the room was very eclectic. Not at all like a chain hotel. The bedding was incredibly comfy, and the wallpaper was beautiful! I enjoyed being in an excellent location with many pubs and restaurants. I had no idea when I booked the room that the ground floor had a nightclub that opened in the evenings. This was very cool (not that I partook in the schenanigans), but the hotel was very considerate in providing earplugs for sleeping. Earplugs definitely helped, and I did not mind being in close proxemity of the club. I quite enjoyed hearing the club/pub goers spill out of the bars after hours. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Dublin. Oh! And it is also very close to the tram and the Express Bus (for the airport).

This is a really good location and very central The room was lovely and clean The only real drawback was the music from the nightclub but it was expected so it wasn't a surprise, as such!

Our stay was lovely--the only downside to the Jackson Court is the night club in the basement, which could be a deterrent to some...the beat of the music can be heard from 10:00 pm until 2:30--but it is of a very low level, and did not stop us from sleeping. The location is fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful.

Staff and location were both good, and the sheets were clean but the whole building otherwise feels grimy. The TV remote was caked in dirt, the bowl holding the teabags etc. was disgusting and getting in and out of the shower was a task - if you're on the chubbier side, be prepared to have to squeeze yourself in and out (not very safe when you and the floor are wet). If all you need is a cheaper base to explore it's fine, if you want a nice hotel stay then avoid.

I was not pleased that we were not told beforehand that parking was a long way away and that we had to pay for it. Also, the room was quite uncomfortable. No air circulation, an old mattress, and no soap/shampoo in the shower.

This place is basically a big nightclub with rooms above. The nightclub (on the Sunday is stayed) was open until 3.30am with loud music and loads of people inside and out on the street, so even with the double glazed windows closed and earplugs the noise was too much to sleep. Once the nightclub closes you get the incredibly noisy trams going past regularly. The room was perfectly decent and the staff nice, but don't stay here if the club is open and you want to sleep.

This was without doubt the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The website doesn’t empathise the noise coming from the nightclub until 3.30am and the random smoke alarm that frequently goes off in the middle of the night. We ask for the quietest room when realising the nightclub was below us and rooms were not soundproof. We were offered the basement room which was dirty and had a really bad smell coming from the bathroom drains. The music was unbearably difficult to deal with as it started at 10pm and that’s when there was no receptionist after this time. At 4.5am the fire alarm went off and caused so anxiety being stuck in the basement room. When we complained the next morning and asked if we could have a refund as we were booked in for another night this was refused and then we were offered another room on the top floor which was a nicer room. That proved to be another if not worse night as the noise was loader and the fire alarm went off 3 times in the middle of the night. Again the next morning we complained only to be told this was unusual as most people are happy to stay. It was a nightmare experience for my friend and I who were working close by but the sleep deprivation was hard to deal with.

Well well well, where do I start. Honestly part of this was on me, I didn’t look at the reviews of the hotel before booking. A room that just about fit a double bed in along side a bathroom with a toilet that was about an inch from the wall (no room to wipe). The bed felt like I was on a trampoline with the amount of springs bouncing me up as I went to lay down. Honestly though all round pretty clean but more of a surface level clean if you get me. The shower pressure, or lack there of was interesting. It felt like I was on a very lack lustre water ride at Disneyland. More damn than wet getting out of the shower. Okay now onto the good stuff… The fact that there were ear plugs on the bedside table was a sign of bad things to come. However, the one redeeming factor was that the TV went pretty loud. It honestly helped to drown out the sound of the terrible music selection down stairs in the club that is attached to the hotel. Having to go through a bouncer & a night club line to get into the hotel was a first for me but honestly quite funny. A couples and those earplugs + the TV volume at about 40 you’ll be alright! The staff were lovely, no issues at all! A funny story but the next time I book a spot I know to look in the reviews first to see if the hotel is attached to a night club or not.

A quick overnight stay. Warning its VERY LOUD. Night club beneath the rooms but it is the most iconic nightclub in Dublin, Coppers. I was aware of this and can't get more central. If you for a party weekend away. Tons of bars and clubs very close and what better way to finish the night only having to get the lift/ elevator to your room. Not for the easily disturbed and if you're at the front of the hotel the street noise goes on to 4am . Being a heavy sleeper i had no problem and had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed Don't complain about the noise if you do Book here. Didn't have breakfast so
