UCD Campus Accommodation

This accommodation was good value for money. The local bus runs every 15 minutes into centre of Dublin for 2euro 60cents in cash or purchase a bus pass at shop on site. The location was peaceful when we were there. Only negative was no aircon as it was very hot but they provide a desk fan when asked.

A strange setup: a desk with no outlet to plug in the lamp or a computer. We had paid for 8 nights. Why were the sheets changed after one week with only one day to go? Why not half way through the stay??

Great apartment and convenient if you are doing something at the college. Otherwise pretty far from everything in Dublin. Also a little challenging to find the check in originally.

expedia didn t tell us there would be no services after checking in. no changing of towels or cleaning not even soap replacement. it was like checking into a college dorm and we should have been told this

A community of its own , safe with direct bus transportation to any part of the city.

Rubbish remained in Kitchen area of apartment despite two members of staff seeing same for duration of my stay . Namely 3 nights . I checked in and was brought to room by a Campus Assistant. There was another party in my room . Not recommendable.

The mattress could have been better.

So when I first arrived, I had this property down as a one star: it was really out of the way from the city center and my wifi wouldn’t work. However, after a while this place really grew on me. First, I resolved the WiFi issue by simply turning off my VPN and was never kicked off the network after that. Next, I discovered that the bus system into Dublin— and the airport for that matter— was virtually trouble free. Yes, it would be nice to have been in the city center, but this was the next best thing. Now, where this property really excelled was in its customer service and facilities. The kids at the front desk were very helpful, particularly Kate, as the staff pointed out when, where, and how to catch the correct bus throughout my stay. As for the facilities, this place had it all: a wonderful convenience store, a thriving food court, and a small bar with reasonably priced beverages. So aside from munching on delicious fresh sushi every night, this place also offered a welcoming atmosphere that reminded me of my old college days. Given the opportunity, I’d stay here again. I only took off a star for the distance from Dublin proper; other than that, it has a five star feel to it

Very nice i booked 2 beds but when I checked In there was only 1 bed so I went to the reception and instead of giving a new room they where nice enough to give 2 separate rooms.

Great room for a quick stay, location is convenient and the facility has a market, food hall and bus station located onsite. They also offer free parking. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything needed for your stay. A few things for attention, the rooms do not have a thermostat for air conditioning, however there are windows to open if necessary. The beds are twin size and and not as comfortable as you may hope for if you are a tall individual. Very happy with our stay!

Good property for a few days stay at an event held at UCD. Dining options and food shop in the same building. More specific details for check in location could be provided.

Excellent place to stay

Clean, modern student accommodation. Needs better directions to get to. And a correct contact telephone number in the booking confirmation email.

The facilities were clean and nice. I stayed there because there was an event at the school. Most of the staff were very kind, but there was one person who wasn’t as helpful. When I asked for some toilet paper, they told me to buy it at a convenience store! Other than that, the rest of the staff were really friendly.

It took me over an hour to find the accommodation: Expedia has to use the official name for it ("The Village" - UCD Campus Accommodation)! Additionally, the published address is incorrect: it should say "on campus between Quinn School of Business and Sutherland School of Law". No taxi or bus driver will otherwise know its location.
