Very hospitable staff including house keeping / security / front desk etc / A very well mannered organization

They will give you the standard room instead of the executive room purchased via Expedia. This has happened during my last two trips. They always use excuses that it is Expedia's problem.

Overall good central hotel missing a salon.

It's an old property, however that's not an issue, under the New management staff is totally changed. Any instructions from the GM's was not followed in case of our stay. Airport pickup was not followed despite providing the flight details. Excuse given was it was thought to be cancelled flight, whereas Room revenue was charged. Hotel guest smoke standing in the corridor, as a result smoke came to our room and was sprayed by staff. Despite request for higher floor we were not not shifted and placed on 5th floor all the time. Food quality has also gone down, at times, we had to wait for 45 minutes for dinner in the lounge restaurant due to supplies coming from main kitchen. Lounge restaurant has more or less same menu of Keesh (non-sweet), very hard Dahi Bara and chick peas with potatoes. Lots of cookies. Another unknown guest informed us that some of the items have been staying since lunch time. Often not properly prepared, we had diarrhea on multiple occasions both guests. Since the Hotel gets tons of local guests, International guests are not essentials for hotel's top and bottom line, still I would Request you to please improve if you want International guests in the long term. It seems current management is focusing on short term gain rather than long term prospects. Good luck with your strategy.

Good Marriott property. Room was clean and comfortable and had been recently updated. Has a nice vibe overall. Only are of improvement is the food. Breakfast was just ok and also lacked variety and didn’t seem fresh. Same for lunch buffet. Overcooked and sitting out for hours. Nothing freshly prepared. Suggest some work on the overall food strategy.

I have stayed at multiple Marriott’s in US and outside of US, never had any issues. However I book a room for my nephew and his wife as a wedding present. I asked them to set up for a bridal room, which they did, but not what I wanted and not what they showed the pictures. they used fake roses and some real roses. However I paid for all real roses decoration and that clearly wasn’t delivered. At the time of check out they held my nephew and his wife for the payment. Mind you, when I initially went in I gave them My card and everything was set up they, told me how much they were holding on my card and how much will be charged once they check out and I don’t have to be present and they can check out get a copy of a invoice and leave and they clearly didn’t happen.my nephew called me and explained that they want the credit card present. I was furious, spoke to the guy who did the initial paperwork, I said I never had to be present or my cc to checkout. We went back and forth to see what can happen. But there was no way out of this either I drive 2 hours from where I was to go give them my car or give them over the phone which I clearly wasn’t comfortable doing, knowing there reputation. There was a woman checking out the day I went in to check in for my room. She was claiming that they charge her 20k and the guy was saying, “I’m sorry ma’am it was a mistake and we will reimburse you and some other charges that she was charged.” So to give them my cc over the phone was just nerve

Stay at this property for five nights large family we had eight rooms. All staff at the Restaurant was extremely helpful and polite. They went above and beyond for our satisfaction and made it a pleasant experience.

I had an amazing stay at Marriott Karachi. I highly recommend it. People were great & courteous and they arranged for my transportation as well.

The building is getting old, and there is a stench/smell all over the hotel. The carpet in the walk ways needs to be changed as a matter of urgency

There is nice place

Generally and overall the staff are helpful and respectful. Apart from one female receptionist, when we called requesting milk for our 2 year old ( who was very ill), her only concern was the bill. My wife told her we will pay at check out but she insisted we pay cash at 3am! I mean its not like we were running away or avoiding paying 600 rupees!
