Bed and Breakfast Operà

We arrived early and Marco the manager couldn’t have been more helpful. Even going with me in our hire car to find suitable parking. The B&B is on the 3rd floor. Don’t panic, there’s a lift. The rooms were neat and clean with modern conveniences and a small balcony. Very quiet at night time and the location was fantastic. Breakfast was also excellent with lots of the usual choices.

Great location to walk or take bus to the central station. Many restaurants in the area. Great host. Really really friendly owner and excellent English speaker. Safe area to walk at midnight. We stay one night and was great. Big rooms, very clean and renovated.

Nice location, close enough to centre but not too loud. Breakfast included but if you want something more substantial there is a lovely bakery opposite which opens earlier than breakfast starts. We stayed in 3 other places across Sicily and most breakfasts started at 7 or 7.30, we went for a trip one day so got breakfast at the cafe opposite the hotel as breakfast wasnt open, and were then told we hadnt turned up for breakfast, so it seems like you need to tell them if you arent going to make breakfast? It wasnt clear on instructuons that you needed to send notice in advance saying what time you arrive, check in was from 12, we arrived just after 12 when 4 other people arrived but our room wasnt cleaned. We got to our room just after 1, and did not complain, we patiently waited in the kitchen but were told a few times we should have said when we were arriving and the room would have been prepared and prioritised (dont see how when there was 6 people all there at same tine and theirs were ready) The wifi did not work at all in the 3 days we stayed, another person raised the issue on the first day when we arrived and was told it was a problem with the provider and the hotel couldnt do anything, but it didnt work the next few days either. There was a safe in room but you cant change the code? The room was clean and good size, host gave map and instructuons on arrival which was helpful but check-in notes in the room for safe, breakfast, wifi instructions etc would be useful

Marco is the friendliest and amusing host. He gave us a warm welcome and lots of good advice re our short visit to Palermo. The hotel is in a great location, was good value and served a very nice breakfast. A good experience all round and would definitely recommend this hotel as very convenient for getting around Palermo.

Excellent position, Marco the owner has been an excellent hots, provided us with a map and places to visit. We will defiantly come back to stay and visit Sicily very soon. Sal & Amber

A really nice b&b at a pedestrian street close to everything. We stayed in a large, clean and well maintained room. The breakfast was good, with great coffee. The owner, Marco, and staff were very friendly and super helpful. Highly recommended!

From the moment I walked in until the moment I left I felt so welcome, the place was ideally located for everything I wanted and needed to do! Clean, tidy and breakfast was okay! The Owner Marco is one of the nicest people you could wish to meet! I won’t be staying anywhere else on my visits to Palermo..

Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM every day, which is very very inconvenient for most of the tourist. Most of the tours start at 8–9 a.m. every day. There is no time for breakfast.

We only had one night at the hotel but Marco, the owner, could not do enough to make us feel welcome. He is obviously very proud of his business and of Palermo itself and ensured that we had everything we needed. The property is on a pedestrianised street and is a perfect location for walking the streets and sights of Palermo. On leaving we had unknowingly left some of our property in the room but Marco quickly phoned to say that he had found it. Overall an excellent service.

Our room was very spacious, clean and practical. It was centrally located within walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast was very good with an assortment of fruits, yoghurts, croissants and amazing cappuccino! The owner, Mario was very sweet and obliging. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone on a budget. There is great value here.

Had some difficulty in finding the unit, but was good enough to stay one night. The owner/manager was very kind and communicable. Good access to most of the attractions of the area.

Marco the owner and manager treats all his guests with loving care. He is very attentive and always takes time to answer your questions. The breakfast Marco prepares for his guests is very good. The location of B&B Opera excellent. All in all my wife and i highly recommend this wonderful B&B Joel & Jackie Strauss

This bnb is in a great location to see the sights in Palermo. You can walk everywhere and lots of restaurants around. A 5 minute walk to the airport bus. It’s just past the end of the old town which can be a bit grotty. It’s quiet and on a pedestrian street. Nice staff, nice breakfast and very clean.

Marco the owner, did everything possible to make our stay perfect. His breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Marco provided us with the best places to eat from pizza, to gelato, to fine dining. The accommodations are very comfortable. The location is the best. Marco makes it special. This was our second time here and it won't be our last.

Marco was amazing and the B&B was clean and well kept. He puts out a fantastic spread for breakfast and helps you with anything you need with a smile. Would recommend to anyone.
