Gusmay Resort - Hotel Cala del Turco

It's a nice property away from city's hussle & bussle, but the staff could be more courteous.

The venue has great potential with plenty of green spaces, comfortable rooms, private beach, etc.. but the way it is managed and the services provided let it down. It's generally well maintained but somehow gives you that feeling that so much more could be done with such a location and resources. The rooms are confortable but the cleaning and maintenance could be improved. The toilet seat came off when I first touched it and it was never fixed during our 1 week stay. Lovely private beach, easy to reach, not crowded, clean, well maintained and, with it's fairly shallow waters, perfect for families with children. The SPA is clean and welcoming, it offers a variety of quality massages and treatments very reasonably priced but the staff deosn't speak a word of English and the instructions are in Italian only. Good breakfast with plenty of choice always replenished but there is nothing provided on the tables other than the tablecloth. You need to get you own cutlery, paper napkins, plastic cups, etc.. which is a bit of a let down given the type of resort. The beach bar is massively understaffed and struggles to cope with demand during in the evenings. The beach restaurant has great views and good food but they charge €5 to cook/warmup baby food and €10 if you want them to add a little vegetable or tomato sauce to it which I think is a ripoff considering they are already charging plenty for the adults' meals.

Depends on what your idea of a resort is If you are expecting something like a Miami resort, then forget it. Firstly there are lots of rules about where you can sit, where you can eat, where you can go and what you can do. If you’re not fluent in Italian you will discover this the hard way. Second the amenities and service are not what you would expect in a typical resort in the United States. Overall it’s a nice place with a beach that’s not overly crowded, but it’s very far out of the way from anything and not even the nicest beach in the area. That said there’s rules about where you can and can’t sit on the beach and rules about everything else for that matter. If you’re from the states and are expecting something like a Miami resort then your expectations will be unfulfilled to say the least. However if you’re looking for a nice quiet place that’s _very_ out of the way that you can relax with your family and you are used to the Italian idea of a resort then please book here. As for me I would rather pay as I go and take services on-demand rather that be unpleasantly surprised as I discover the limits Italian resorts. Finally I would make sure you have a good wireless provider as the WiFi is horrible.

A nice resort, with a pool and private beach. The resort is set in a natural cove. We stayed in the Cala del Turco villas, newly constructed recently. NIce room with small balcony. Comfortable beds and modern bathroom. We stayed out of season so many parts of the resort were out of use like the beachside restaurants. However, a comfortable stay and pleasant, helpful staff. It's a bit out of the way being about 10km from the nearest town of Peschici and this would be my main drawback. A place I will return to in the season. It's location, setting and availability of restaurants in season lends itself to a half board or full board stay when planning a getaway break relaxing in the resort for most of the time.

Bruyant avec un équipement vieux. Personnel pas aidant notamment pour les serviettes de plage… petit dej minimaliste. Spa payant quand on prend un massage!!!

La struttura nel complesso è molto bella, ma mantenuta e gestita male e di conseguenza quasi tutti gli ospiti hanno avuto dei problemi... Magari anche piccoli, ma non risolti dal personale manutentore. Tutto questo alla fine diventava abbastanza irritante..

Tolle anlage mit eigenem strand.....zimmer allerdings in die jahre gekommen..aber ok

Esperienza sufficientemente positiva. Location molto bella ed attrezzata. Segnalo alcuni dettagli che hanno contribuito a rendere imperfetto il soggiorno: - arrivo alle ore 11.00, stanza non ancora disponibile; ci viene comunque concessa la possibilità di utilizzare altri spazi per cambiarsi e posare i bagagli; - intorno alle ore 18.00 prelevo le chiavi della camera, non trovando nella stessa i miei bagagli; i bagagli erano rimasti nel deposito e non sono stati portati in camera come invece annunciato in fase di check in. Ho provveduto personalmente a portarte i miei bagagli in camera; - camera adibita per 3 ma erano presenti asciugamani per solamente due persone; nemmeno dopo la chiamata alla reception e successivi due solleciti siamo riusciti ad ottenere gli asciugamani; - last but not least, avevamo pagato un supplemento per il terzo lettino che puntualmente dovevo provvedere a sistemare autonomamente sotto il mio ombrellone. Ci tengo a precisare che non si tratta di azioni dispendiose e che posso tranquillamente fare. Segnalo ciò solo per denotare che il servizio ricevuto non è sicuramente da considerare pentastellato.

Struttura molto bella, personale un po’ inesperto , ma la pecca più grande è il cibo.

essendoci stato alcuni anni fa posso dire solo cose positive sull'intero complesso. magari alcuni ospiti dovrebbero comportarsi in maniera più rispettosa del posto nel quale soggiornano.

Albergo nel complesso bello ,con molto verde intorno,bella la spiaggia nn caotica.Camere troppo piccole ma pulite,ristorante deludente! Poca scelta nel menù bevande a pagamento (care).

Bello e vicino al mare, ben tenuto e pulito. Cucina serale orribile, totale assenza di intrattenimento serale. Materassi durissimi.

Il posto è di primordine l'unica pecca che ho rilevato avendo scelto la mezza pensione che la sera non vi era molta scelta o varietà nel menù. Anche se a mia richiesta mi hanno servito un piatto che non era nel menù.

Posizione strategica immerso nel verde personale a disposizione camere pulite e confortevoli spiaggia privata ristorazione ottima e per finire colazione internazionale

Spiaggia e mare puliti e nel complesso struttura pulita e abbastanza curata. Ristorante usato solo per la colazione, piuttosto sporco, con personale in abbondanza ma poco efficiente, microonde fuori uso e tra le macchine del caffè quasi tutte le mattine almeno una era senza caffè già all'orario di apertura alle 7.30.Grande buffet di qualità discutibile, veramente invitante solo il tavolo con diversi tipi di pane fresco. Rapporto qualità/prezzo non soddisfacente.

Lleguamos al medio día y nos hicieron el check in pero al momento de darnos la habitación nos dijeron que no estaba lista aún , que volvamos en dos hiras. Fuimos a la piscina mientras esperábamos y al volver , al parecer no habían ingresado nuestros datos y había que esperar otra hora más . Decidimos hacer día de playa y volver al anochecer , que nos dieron el cuarto , que era bastante básico para un hotel tan caro. La playa , la piscina , el desayuno y las piscinas , muy bien .

Albergo tranquillo e spiaggia bellissima personale gentilissimo. Ottima colazione e stanza molto confortevole
