We had an amazing stay at Hotel Benaco as a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids). From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and relaxed.
The breakfast was just perfect, fresh, tasty, and with lots of choice, something for everyone in the family. The hotel’s restaurant is an absolute gem, easily one of the best meals we had during our trip, delicious food, beautifully presented, and a great atmosphere.
The location couldn’t be better. Right by Lake Garda, it’s the ideal base for exploring, walking around, and soaking up the scenery.
What really made the difference was the friendly staff and the overall vibe of the place, cozy, warm, and genuinely caring. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Lake Garda!

We stay there few nights as part of our longer trip around north of Italy - best place ever - recommend to everybody . Easy to commute , parking on site , close by pier , restaurant downstairs , friendly staff . Rooms clean and comfort .

The room was alright. It was small but had everything that we needed and the AC worked well. You need a gold room to access the hot tub area which was not clear when we booked. It costs 10€ to get this access for normal rooms. When we were given access to the hot tub it was set to 74 degrees F and took 8 hours to get to a reasonableness temperature. Although this is not necessarily the hotels fault it was sad because it was rainy during our stay. We wished we would have stayed in Riva Del Garda because it was way bigger are there were more activities to do.

The room was immaculately clean and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and attentive to all your needs.The hotel has been nicely renovated on the inside and has a beautiful collection of paintings of the area covering a period of over a hundred years of the area by various artists. The location is beautiful, on the northern shore of Lago di Garda and in the center of the beautiful and lively little town of Torbole, but also within easy walking distance of trails that go up into the nearby mountains.

Nice little hotel in a perfect location, set in a historical building with friendly and accommodating staff and nice breakfast. The rooms are clean and well preserved, and comes with the standard you can expect from an Italian three-star hotel; not great, but not bad either. The upgrade to gold standard is worth it for the balcony (and view) alone. I personally found the bed to be very hard, and [at this time of year at least] the rooms are lacking a duvet. The restaurant is worth a try if you don't have the energy to find something else. Great parking facilities, but make sure to pre-book if you want the one in the hotel courtyard (at an extra cost).

We loved this hotel! The decor is a bit old fashioned but is authentic and added to the charm. We had a room on the front with a beautiful view of the lakefront as can be seen in the attached photo. The service at reception was not the best but all the other staff were Fantastic. We ate in the restaurant in the evening which was great as well. The area itself is stunning and this hotel is in a prime location. Our only real complaint was that we had to leave in the morning!
