Our second visit to the Costa Caddu, just as amazing as the first 4 years ago. It's not often we stay in the same place twice, but we will definitely come back again. The hotel buildings, and grounds are beautiful, and immaculately kept. The pool area is spacious and peaceful. The inside of the hotel is traditional Sardinian, and very beautiful. We stayed on half board basis, and the meals and service were excellent. All the staff were so friendly, and helpful. The bedrooms are all on ground level, and are very clean, quiet and comfortable. Nearest beach 10 minus walk, and it's lovely. It is advisable to have a car, as the hotel is in a quiet area, which is what we like. A big thank you to all the staff at the wonderful Hotel Costa Caddu. ❤️

This is not for family. I asked hot water for kids snacks. It was so difficult to get it because of their regulations, We were not allowed to eat anything at all in the room. If they mentioned it on their website, I would not have chosen this hotel as I have two kids. It was a bit uncomfortable to stay.

Fantastic property, really relaxing, gorgeous gardens, birds and scenery surrounding the hotel. Lovely pool, quiet, away from it all. The food was also fantastic and there was variety every night. The only thing I would say against is that during dinner water is always bottled and is 3.50 Euros - I would have thought from the prices that water could be included, or you could have tap water with your meal, as 3.50 is quite expensive for water. But otherwise as said all was great.

Its very difficult to review this hotel as it has 2 sides to it. On the one hand the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with most having a small terrace overlooking the gardened area and pool. Beds aren't terribly comfy, but not the worst. On the other hand, the staff in the dining room seem unable to break a smile, and have little or no language skills other than Italian. We had reason to complain about the service we received at dinner on the first night. We had a set menu, but several courses weren't available, or weren't offered to us. There was a loud live band playing at the wedding downstairs and the staff had clearly had enough judging by their dead pan faces. when I came to complain, the manager who was in the office behind reception didn't even condescend to speak to us, preferring to pass a message to the poor reception staff saying that ''we ate' and as such wasn't prepared to amend the bill, which I refused to pay in the end. Apparently he doesn't speak english either, so its not surprising that other staff in the hotel dont think this is important. I speak 3 languages, I won't be alone amongst visitors from Europe in not speaking Italian. Breakfast is an awkward fiasco if you want to order anything hot such as an omelette. Unless you're Italian, you may not even realise that this is an option as it sent advertised, and if you do cotton on, its a lottery whether you actually receive what you've ordered.

The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool area and jacuzzi are fantastic. Beautiful flowers and the scent of jasmine everywhere. Great location for some utterly stunning beaches which look straight out of a postcard. With the exception of the bar and cleaning staff however, the staff were rude and confrontational from check in to check out. Breakfast staff repeatedly ignored orders from the menu and said my friends were lying about having ordered! Check in staff were cold and unhelpful. I think perhaps they were overwhelmed by the size of our group but 'hospitality' doesn't appear to be a word in the dictionary at Costa Caddu. We had a much more welcoming time in other hotels on our trip but perhaps if you are just a couple or family staying there, you would be better catered to.

The hotel is on the whole lovely, the pool area is a great space, and it's walking distance to the beach. There are a number of things that were disappointing however. 1. The food: considering they host weddings on a continuous basis, we expected the food to be good, but it was at best variably palatable. The breakfast was ok, the poolside food was barely edible (do NOT get the club sandwich!), the dinner was enormous but courses were either horribly stodgy, cold, or tasteless. 2. The service. Absolutely nothing was done with a smile, but always with a groan. Simple things like ordering a taxi, or asking for a hairdryer left the asker feeling patronised and judged. At one point they angrily accused us of lying about our orders, rather than admit they had misheard! 3. Interruptions in the rooms: Cleaners would ignore the do not disturb sign and enter /knock loudly while we were sleeping. Our friends were awoken at 7am to demand they hand over their passports to reception. They were then awoken the following morning at 7am again to insist they move rooms. All the while checkout is at 10.30am, so why we were constantly being woken up at the crack of dawn I have no idea. 4. Ameneties in the room: the air conditioning worked variably, and they only offered soap in the bathrooms (no shampoo, etc). They also only offered two tiny bottles of water a day for two people free of charge. It's unreasonable to not provided filtered water to guests in 35 degree heat.

We found our stay at Costa Caddu very peaceful. Nice large size room with a terrace. Staff were all excellent from reception to the bar and restaurant. As the beaches nearby were all very full (like everywhere else in the island in august) we stayed at the pool which is a great size. We were there during Ferragosto so got to enjoy what was an amazing dinner. The only recommendation is you need a car if staying here, but i would say that about nearly anywhere in Sardinia

The food in the restaurant was probably not quite as good as we expected but there are lots of options to eat nearby. I would definitely recommend to others.

The pool area is amazing and super relaxing but the staff is constantly arranging the grass which is too noisy at times. The bar service is poor and the barman did not speak english, which is a bit disturbing when you only need a spoon. The rest of the hotel is nice, clean and beautiful. The breakfast does not have the greatest variety and doesn't do hot food (eggs, bacon, etc.).

We were there during Ferragosto so got to enjoy what was an amazing dinner. The only recommendation is you need a car if staying here, but i would say that about nearly anywhere in Sardinia

My girlfriend and I only stayed one night at Hotel Costa Caddu but we had a really nice time. The pool is beautiful, as is the lounge and bar area. The rooms are very pleasant and all seem to have nice little outside patios/gardens.
