Very nice hotel. Friendly and warm. We had a room in the front of the building. Right off of the elevator. All guest must pass through the door right outside our room door. If you do not like noise, get a room further down hallway.

The hotel is way too expensive for the services it offers. the only good thing about this is the location, the showers are good quality. The air conditioner was not strong at all and could get stuffy. We went in end-April, and the weather was good. Not sure how it would be in high heat months. The AC was not working well at all.

This is a beautiful old building and as such there are some things that need updating. The a/c did not work and although there were gorgeous French doors opening to wonderful balcony, the noise and street lights made it almost impossible to sleep. The TV is not a smart TV so no reading to Netflix in the evening. the buffer breakfast is 10 euros but the the food was mediocre at best. I only received steamed milk in my cappuccino… the ladies working the front desk were incredibly friendly and really went out of there way so we could check in early to rest.

Central location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The room & lobby smelled strongly like damp/mold to me. Tiny elevator, 2 ppl or 1 with luggage. Very noisy, you can here your neighbors and ppl in the hallway at 2am most nights, and there are ambulances all day and night passing which we heard from the 4th floor. Bathroom is small, you will burn whomever is showering if you use sink/toilet, hotel has cracks in the walls in many places. Mini fridge did work. Only given 1 key card, seriously?! The bed is made up with only a single thin sheet, maybe nice if you like the room warm but a comforter should be provided.
