Location and staff! The location is within walking distance from nearly all the sights. The staff was wonderful with all my pathetic try’s at Italian. Very friendly. Rooms are basic but for the price adequate.

Hotel ricci was superb..the hotel was so clean beds so comfy and quiet and safe. Rooms were simple but perfect for our group of 3. The breakfast was fabulous each morning and staff were so helpful with anything we needed. The location was fantastic a quick walk to all the sights through the lovely italian streets. Its location to the train station was also great. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Genoa and reccommend it totally. Thank you hotel ricci!

This 2 * hotel is excellent value. Slighly unusual as it is situated within a building containing other outlets, but once inside, & although rather small, is clean, quiet, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are not the most roomy, but are clean, & well maintained, and there is no noise despite its excellent central location. Only negative is that it locks up at 12.30am, so any party-goers will need to be aware of this! Obviously not a problem if you are not nocturnal! Breakfast is a little basic, but met our needs fine. For 2-3 nights this hotel is great value!
