Marchesina Resort

I liked the look of the Marchesina Hotel. Very spacious, easy flow, lots of areas to sit, Our particular room, a little needy for traveling tourists with suitcases and places to hang toiletrybag, towels. I would say a little upgrade is needed in respect to tourists needs in a oom.

Adequate hotel and hotel room in a rather out-of-the way location. It was near where I needed to be, and for the price, it was quite good.

The hotel is a bit off the beaten track but nicely located between mountains and nearby the A3. We stayed the night before visiting the nearby Caves of Pertosa. The restaurant is excellent and with very good prices.

Nice hotel, nice quiet area. Great restaurant in the hotel, very cheap and lovely food. Overall a great stay!

Tired of driving so did a search based on location. Hotel is in the countryside but very nice. Staff was very accomodating. Room was specious. Nice terrace. Restaurant was good and a good value. Hotel is not in the main town but next to a grocery store for any necessary provisioning. Might have been interesting to check out the town.

Great stay but lots of dogs barking in the area around the hotel

This hotel we perfect for what we needed, One night and reasonable price. They have free WIFI which is always a plus and on site free parking! Room had plenty of space for a short stay, Bathroom was large and clean. Large balcony, tho it rained during my stay. Restaurant down stairs was very good, and inexpensive. Breakfast was a normal continental variety.

This is a great hotel. Clean large rooms, Staff was the best. The dinning room food was wonderful, Cant say enough about this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Nice clean and spacious rooms. Restaurant is very good as well.

A lot of noise from restaurant below even till very late. Staff unwilling to help. Can hear everything from one room to another. Difficult to find. Nothing in the area at all.

I don't think this hotel deserves its official four stars, but it's a solid three plus, and its current rates make it a terrific bargain. Probably a standard tour bus stopover -- there was a bus for a women's volleyball team and staff there on the night we stayed. Teggiano is a few kilometers off the Autostrada, and a good local map is necessary to get there and find the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable; hotel restaurant is fairly large (those tour groups ...), with a standard menu, good service, casual atmosphere. Some local people obviously use it. The almost ubiquitous wall-mounted flat screen TV tuned to a soccer game can make it a little noisy.

Great room with loft. Spacious, comfortable. Felt very welcome.

Ottima posizione a pochi chilometri dall’uscita autostradale, zona molto tranquilla

La struttura è stata facile da raggiungere dall'autostrada, è molto grande e ben curata. La stanza spaziosa mi è piaciuta tanto, soprattutto il fatto di avere la camera da letto separata dall'ingresso in cui c'erano gli altri 2 letti e anche un comodo e spazioso divano in aggiunta. Il tetto molto carino a mò di dipinto antico con tanto di crepe (solamente disegnate ovviamente). La pulizia impeccabile. Il bagno grande e comodo, c'era anche uno sgabello, utile per i bimbi. L'unica pecca la doccia che sì, era pulita, ma ai bordi c'era molto calcare e perdeva un po' nella chiusura. Il letto matrimoniale molto duro, ma a me non dispiace. Colazione abbondante, non proprio continentale se non in qualche salume e formaggio, ma c'erano anche merendine sigillate (comode da portare via). I cornetti e i ciambelloni caserecci molto buoni. Non siamo stati in giro per la cittadina perché abbiamo sostato solo la notte, ma a poca distanza c'è il centro storico medievale. Il posto inoltre, essendo in periferia, è molto tranquillo, neanche un rumore abbiamo sentito durante la notte. Inifine abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante interno, buonissima la carne, ma anche la pizza! Che ho ordinato per i miei figli. La sala del ristorante è anche curata bene ed è stata creata come un cortile interno di un castello. Ultima chicca, accanto, ma proprio accantao, c'è un comodo supermercato per comprare qualcosa per il viaggio di rientro, cosa non scontata. Ci tornerò volentieri se capita l'occasione.

camera e bagno freddi con termosifoni spenti ed un condizionatore che non diffonde calore perchè ha un armadio davanti. Letto matrimoniale assemblato che in piena notte si è aperto tra i 2 materassi. Biancheria del letto che appariva usata.

In generale la struttura è carina e pulita, ma la moquette della camera era sporca e piena di peli e capelli. Inoltre sugli asciugamani abbiamo trovato dei capelli ancor prima di utilizzarli. Le lenzuola erano stropicciate. Basterebbe un po’ di accortezza in più per migliorare la situazione, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la pulizia, che per me è fondamentale.

Balcone con cacche e piume di piccione, interni della camera un po’ datati. Per essere un quattro stelle, mi aspettavo di meglio
