VOI Arenella Resort

We spent four nights in a Superior Triple Room, all-inclusive, and had an incredible time. The resort is vast, the food is incredible and the staff are very helpful. There is a genuine effort to offer food that is fresh, varied as well producing local delicacies. Although there is a shuttle bus frequently to Syracuse, we chose to spend all of our time within the resort alternating our time from the two wonderful pools and the beach. We would come back in a heartbeat and are interested in what other VOI resorts are available. It's worth noting that their season truly begins from 1st June meaning there are more activities from this date nevertheless we still enjoyed children's entertainment din late May despite their official season not starting quite yet. It's also worth noting that food and drink from the beach facility is excluded even if you have chosen all inclusive. 10/10 would go again!!!

It would be great to have hair conditioner in the room. Beautiful grounds and the beach and swim platforms were beautiful.

Our room was very musty smelling our entire stay even with the air conditioning on!

The pools, the food, the staff the beach, kids loved the animation team. Maybe one thing to comment about is the internet service on the property which was nt always working adequately.

So amazing

Great resort. Staff is super nice, food is good, super clean. We had a great time. Downsides are the wi fi, just available in the common areas, frigo bar did not work until we found out that the door of the wardrobe has to be open for making it work and our telephone was broken. Nevertheless I have to say that overall great experience.

I am from Siracusa and I consider this resort the best choice, especially if you are a family with children. It has 2 big swimming pools (not including the one of the spa), a gym and equipments for children. A little "train" will bring you at the Arenella beach that I consider the best beach of Siracusa if you like sand. Another option is to let the train leave you at the solarium (amazing) if you would like to avoid sand but I advice this just without children or at least not the little ones. Staff is friendly. Area of improvement: the little train is almost always full. Though is passing every 5 minutes sometimes happened to me to be obliged to go walking to avoid remaining waiting in the hot.

We chose Arenella primarily because it is well-placed for visiting interesting places in the South East corner of Sicily, notably the Baroque towns, Syracuse and Mount Etna. But we also spent plenty of time by the pools or at the beach which (in June at least) are not crowded or noisy - very relaxing.

The photos in Hotels.com let us think the beach is very close to the hotel, but it's not. You have to walk from 500 m to 1 km to reach it. Anyway, they have a truck that can bring you there. Internet costs 10 EUR for 24 hour and does not work in the room, only in the reception. The hotel very good, has everything you need, but is 10 km from Siracusa. You'll need a car.

Die Zimmer waren mal schön ausgestattet, aber brauchen dringend ein Deep Clean und eine Überholung. Sämtliche Amarturen waren stark verkalkt und das Silikon an der Dusche echt eklig. Das Essen war gut, jedoch war die Auswahl nicht extrem groß, aber ganz gut. Leider sind auch sehr viele Sachen kostenpflichtig. (Ein Tennisschläger zum leihen 20€) Am Pool darf man eigentlich nur Schwimmen oder planschen. Wasserbälle oder ähnliches sind an allen Pools verboten, was echt schade ist. Das Angebot von alkoholfreien Cocktails ist im AllInclusive Paket etwas gering und als zuckerfreien Softdrink gibt es eigentlich nur Pepsi Light... Also es war OK, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist echt nicht gut hier.

Globalement déçu, points négatifs à connaître Points positifs : Musicien chanteur le soir très sympa Choix le soir au dîner buffet avec poissons grillés de bonne qualité Chambre spacieuse et propre Des personnes très disponibles et sympathiques viennent vous chercher en voiturette pour les bagages Point négatifs : Petit déjeuner de mauvaise qualité et surtout très peu de choix (pas d’œuf au plat ou omelette à la demande par exemple) Seulement des œufs brouillés froids et sans goût Peu de fruits ou fromage blanc Les serveurs retirent les assiettes régulièrement mais n’apportent jamais de café ou d’eau à table par exemple (premium) L’heure de fin du petit déjeuner à 9h30 est scandaleuse c’est beaucoup trop tôt Wifi de qualité instable, inaccessible depuis la chambre le premier jour puis réparé après demande. Pas de chaînes TV internationales juste 4 ou 5 chaînes italiennes Très grand complexe et manque d’informations ou panneaux visibles pour identifier le bloc et notre chambre (surtout la nuit) 700 personnes lors de nos 3 jours mais on imagine avec 2500 personnes en haute saison que cela doit être moins agréable Plage disponible mais via un petit train car au moins 15 ou 20 minutes à pied, ambiance très bruyante et relégué au 6 eme rang en fonction de notre chambre… Coté hôtel espace avec transats devant les rochers, pas très agréable Porte et serrure très difficiles à ouvrir ou fermer, boiseries à revoir Traces de peinture suite à des travaux

Bellissima struttura con enormi potenzialità, buona la qualità del cibo e dei ristoranti. Peccato per la pulizia delle camere molto superficiale e per il personale del ristorante a volte addirittura scorbutico.

Mare stupendo, ambienti curati e puliti. Mio marito è celiaco e perla prima volta abbiamo trovato un servizio gluten free eccezionale. Antonia la responsabile cucina gluten free e’ attentissima, inoltre ci sono prodotti freschi e non le solite cose precotte. Personale eccellente

Tutto molto bene. Stanza pulita e ampia. Cibo ottimo. Piscine top, mare caraibico. Personale estremamente gentile. Un ringraziamento particolare a Dylan il capo bagnino, gentilissimo con i bambini. Divertenti gli spettacoli serali. Ottima animazione. Mini club super! Team dí animazione perfetto, presenti ma non invadenti. Grazie a tutti!!!
