Great breakfast and friendly staff.

The room was spacious and the view breathtaking. However, the sliding door to the balcony could not be locked and the closet door needs repair. There was also an infestation of biting ants.

My experience at this property was extremely disappointing. 1. Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was the presence of roaches crawling on the furniture and across the floor. This immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. 2. When I attempted to take a shower, I discovered that the water wouldn’t drain properly. I was forced to shower while standing in stagnant water, which was both uncomfortable and unsanitary. 3. The bathroom also lacked basic privacy and safety. The window was missing its glass pane and was left open, with only a burglar bar installed on the inside. This made me feel exposed and unsafe throughout my stay. I reported these issues verbally to a supervisor, who assured me that I would receive a follow-up call, but no one ever reached out. Upon checkout, I brought up the condition of the property again to the front desk manager, but he was dismissive and unprofessional, showing no concern for the issues I raised including the infestation and poor maintenance. Overall, this stay was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this property to anyone.

The food was very good

Ideal for families with children. 3 bedroom villa. Each room had its own bathroom. Bathrooms small but adequate.

Unfriendly staff, I had to pay for water . Lack of supervision from management. I was charged for some of the breakfast that was supposed to be free. The place is very unkept. Everything is falling apart, needs a lot of TLC. The water is the pool was cloudy, the lounge chairs by the pool were dirty and broken. They need to spend some money to bring this place to life. The landscaping and the building are very dirty and disheveled. No maintenance at all. Even the sign is broken. I can’t believe they care about that place. The place has a lot of potential, the owner needs to care about his investment and do better.

The stay was very pleasurable. We were both surprised by the view and how quite the surrounding neighbors were. I would recommend to others

Quality resort for reasonable price

Good stay overall for what we needed. Stayed in a villa however there was no aircon in the main room, only bedrooms. This made it uncomfortable to relax in

Lovely stay with just one issue. We stayed at Match Resort for one night from Saturday to Sunday and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The lobby was beautifully decorated with pictures and artwork showcasing Jamaican culture, which gave it a warm and inviting feel. Check-in at the front desk was seamless, and the staff were friendly and professional. One feature I especially appreciated was how breakfast orders are taken at the front desk upon check-in. This made the breakfast experience smooth and efficient the next morning. Speaking of breakfast, the stew chicken was absolutely delicious! The pool area was lovely and well-maintained, and the pool itself was very clean. I also loved the coconut ice cream sold on the property such a refreshing treat! The only downside to my stay was a room mix-up. I had booked two king rooms one for myself and one for my sister. While my sister received a spacious and beautifully decorated king room, I was given a much smaller queen room due to an apparent oversight. Unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked, so no changes could be made. This was disappointing, especially since the room type had been booked in advance. I would recommend that management double-check room assignments, particularly for online bookings, to ensure guests receive exactly what they paid for. Despite that hiccup, Match Resort is a charming hotel with great service, clean facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere.

Atmosphere was great. Owner was fantastic, made you feel welcomed and at home. Everyone was very pleasant, friendly, attentive to your needs.

This was a great stay. The staff was great and well organized. Breakfast was good. The parking spot was there but a bit limited. Wonderful staff. Will be back again.

Good overall, nice clean air conditioning room. Pool doesn’t seem like it is being cleaned regular, if you would like to use it. Nice upgrade to the lobby area.
