it wasn't much to look at from the outside, but the interior was very modern and updated. the room was extremely comfortable, quiet, and met all my needs. from check in and throughout the stay, staff was welcoming and helpful. the location was easy walking distance to the main train station.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel in Kyoto, just a few minutes’ walk from Kyoto Station. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home.
One nice surprise was the free drinks available from 2pm to 9pm — such a thoughtful touch after a day of exploring the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a good night’s sleep.
There was also a public bath available, which we didn’t get a chance to try, but it’s a great option to have. Overall, a great value stay with comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality.

We had an amazing stay at Almont hotel! It has a great location within walking distance from Kyoto station. We got the breakfast included with our reservation and the selection is delicious, you’ll not regretted. Having breakfast ready for you before you start your long day adventure in Kyoto and surrounding areas, it’s a must! Their public bath is amazing too. I highly recommend.

A charming Showa-era style hotel with some modern updates. It’s clean, peaceful, and quiet. The communal bath is a nice touch. There’s an affordable parking lot right across the street. The hotel is very close to the Jujo area, which has some of the best Yakiniku I’ve tried— we found a gem called Hayashi Jujo. It’s also just a short Uber or taxi ride from Kyoto Station. Highly recommend!

Great hotel. Room was a pretty good size. Plenty of space with a desk to do remote work. Staff was extremely friendly, greeted everytime without fail. Will stay again on my next trip to Kyoto.
