Breakfast was great. The room is too small.

My room is very clean and staff do an amazing job. A really good stay, will book again if I ever visit again. :)

The rooms are pretty small, but the hotel is clean and the staff was amazingly helpful. Also located near so many things to see, do and explore. Plus easy access to Ueno station!

Clean and very fancy business hotel. We could could see the Tokyo sky tree from our window ! Very comfortable room. Night staff is sometimes a bit rude, one of them wouldn’t let my girlfriend get patches for her tattoos so she could access the Onsen, even though that was complimentary. That was only once, and when we asked someone else, we got the patches. Otherwise, everyone is nice.

This hotel is very convenient to Ueno Station, so it's ideal for a first or last night when flying into Narita. Like other Tokyo hotels, rooms are quite small, but they come with everything you need. The bath on the 15th floor is nice, though the water could be hotter. The breakfast is good, but the restaurant is small, so you may need to wait to get in, especially when it opens at 7 am.

The good features are excellent staff and near public transportation. But, the bad is no A/C control in room, a confusing check in procedure (why is something so simple made difficult!) and a poor restuarant.

Very small room and very basic, lots of rules. Cannot have tattoos in the bath house, etc. Location pretty good overall but this is a very basic hotel

We stayed here to save a few bucks and it was great. Staff English is limited but they were still helpful regardless. Room was clean, and I wish I had the kind of shower pressure back home as they do here, it was awesome.

Above and beyond.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our short Japan trip. Having gone to Japan for school/work/leisure multiple times, I have to say this was one of my best experiences at a hotel. The location is perfect, right by the JR Yamanote-sen and multiple Shinkansen stops. The Ginza and Hibiya lines are even closer. Ameyoko is just across the street and it's walking distance from the Ueno Park and Okachimachi. It was so easy to get to everywhere we needed to go because of the location. More importantly, however, the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. I mentioned in my initial message to the staff that I was most likely getting proposed to while there and asked if it was at all possible to get a nice room to celebrate the event. They went above and beyond and placed us on the 14th floor with a perfect view of the Skytree. I'll always remember that view fondly. Whether we needed tape or less towels or anything at all, the staff was ready to assist us. I am indebted to them for their generosity and their excellent service. For such an incredible price, you will be getting the best of the best at this hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone planning on staying Ueno/Tokyo.

I visit Japan regularly and having arrived in Tokyo this hotel is welcome pitstop that ticks all the boxes as a tourist. Clean, small rooms very thoughtfully designed with the traveller in mind. Despite other reviews stating that the air conditioning is centrally controlled throughout the property this is not the case. There is a control panel built in to the bed headboard, and along with the room lighting dimmer switches there is a touch panel that controls the in-room temperature and air-conditioning fan speed. Breakfast buffet is fine, served in a small Izakaya attached to reception. Will stay again.

Good location, very helpful staff, very small room, but I knew this when I reserved. Breakfast was just okay, had much better at other hotels. Would stay again, but only for 1 night like we did.

This hotel is renewed recently, so all furnitures are new. It's locations is perfect for connecting further Japanese sightseeing areas via train and Sinkansen.

Nice property. Convenient location. The bed was too hard. Asked for a comforter to sleep on but was denied. Asked for a blanket but it smelled bad.

It's nice and clean but definitely a bit of walk to the train station and personally wouldn't recommend getting the breakfast add on was a smaller section and most of the time food is luke warm or cold

Great Japanese business style hotel. Perfect mix of clean, comfortable accommodations and value without eating a ton of money for western style hotels which are exceptionally expensive in Tokyo.
