ほっこり農村生活が味わえます。囲炉裏もあり火の暖かみを感じながらそこで地の野菜や肉を自分達で焼いて食事も楽しめました。古民家なので快適さはホテルとは見劣りしてしまいますが、本質的な幸せを感じられる宿です。この辺が評価の難しいところでしたが、そう言った生活を楽しめる人にとってはそれも味、ご馳走となります。トイレが外にあり 11月中旬の京北では夜厳しかったのでその点だけ参考まで設備欄を4点にさせてもらいました。が、古き良き日本人の生活あまり便利に近代化せず残して欲しい宿です。オーナー夫婦もとても温かく親切にご対応していただけました。一軒貸切なので、また暖かい季節に大勢で行っても楽しいかな？と感じられました。

If you want to get a glimpse of rural life in Japan, this place is hard to beat! Beautiful old home and a wonderful host/hostess. Sitting around the fire drinking tea was a highlight. The fire is open on all side, creating a social place that is personal and meaningful. Food and drinks in homemade ceramics is also a highlight.
